Mary wants to be a fashion designer because she likes beautiful clothes and is good at drawing. Kate wants to be a gardener, she lives plants, and she wants to make the cities better. Mike would like to be a writer. He’d like to share his wonderful stories with others. Tom would like to be a cook. He’d like to cook delicious food for others. I would like to be a policeman. I want to protect the people safe.
Hopefully everyone can realize their dreams in the future.

除夕前一天的晚上，天空飘着纷纷扬扬的小雪花，我和妈妈来到苏果超市购买年货。
走进超市，琳琅满目的商品堆满了货架，推销人员拿着小喇叭，扯着嗓子大声吆喝着，不停地夸自己的商品好，吸引顾客前来购买。东西多人更多，我和妈妈推着小车在人群里挤来挤去，终于来到了饮料区。我们挑中了纯果乐橙汁，我看了一下价格，买1瓶6.10元，买2瓶11元。我心里打起了小算盘：买2瓶11元，那么平均1瓶5.50元，比单买1瓶便宜了6角。这么一算，我觉得还是买2瓶的划算。后来，我们又选中了汇源苹果汁，我一看价格，买1瓶24.90元，买2瓶37.50元，我毫不犹豫地拎起两瓶苹果汁就走。
接着，我们又来到速冻食品区。只见冷冻柜里摆满了各种品牌的汤圆，有三全的、状元的，还有思念的，品种繁多。我和妈妈拿不定主意，围着冷冻柜转了一圈又一圈，最后我比较了一下价格，发现三全的价格便宜一些。我还发现三全有两种包装，一种是豆沙400克6.20元，另一种是黑芝麻600克12.80元。我仔细一算，如果买两袋豆沙400克的，只要花12.40元，比起黑芝麻600克包装的不仅省下4角，还多了200克。于是，我们决定购买400克包装的豆沙汤圆。
然后，我们又来到装饰品采购区。远远看去，那儿一片红红火火、喜气洋洋。各式各样的福字看得我们眼花缭乱。我们买了3张福字，每张福字7.50元，一共花了22.50元。后来，我们又买了水果、调味品等，购完年货我拿起小本子计算了一下，今天我们采购年货一共花了289元。
当我们推着装满物品的购物车来到收银台时，只见等待付款的队伍排成了长龙，每个人的推车里都装满了年货。就在这时，大喇叭里响起了热热闹闹的新年歌声恭喜你发财，恭喜你精彩结完帐我和妈妈走出超市，眼前白茫茫的一片，哇，好一个瑞雪兆丰年呀!

Everyone has his own dream. I want to be a good doctor in the future. The reason is that some doctors saved my life after I was badly hurt in a traffic accident. I was deeply impressed by their medical skils and greatly moved by their care for me. From then on, to be a doctor in the future has always been my dream.
Our dreams can’t be realized unless we make all our efforts. Therefore, the first thing I will do is to remember what my dream is. I won’t let it leave my mind, because it will help me to keep trying and fighting for what I want. 今天早上，妈妈兴高采烈地说：“今天我们去科技馆参观，还能见到你的`同学呢。”我听后，快速穿好衣服，吃完饭，兴奋地出发了。
在车上，我心里十分激动，想：放假这么多天，一直没和同学玩，今天终于可以与同学见面了。
盼星星盼月亮，终于把科技馆盼到了。我们买好了票，走进了科技馆。
科技馆里的东西好有趣啊！就说“龙卷风”吧，上下有两个大风扇不停地转动，产生一股强风，还真像龙卷风呢。
“昆虫世界”最有趣了，我们先坐着“时空穿梭器”来到昆虫世界。哇！昆虫世界真有趣。我们知道了白蚁皇后并不懒惰，反而十分勤劳。知道了白蚁吃什么，知道了白蚁穴巢有几个房间，也知道了白蚁家族的秘密。
我们来到了螳螂的房间，看见螳螂正在产卵，它费力的产下了一颗颗卵包。这些卵包裹着一根根丝，丝中间有几个小洞，可能是让小螳螂钻出来的吧。
螳螂妈妈产完卵之后，就头也不回地走了。我并不认为螳螂妈妈没有责任心，反而对它产的卵肃然起敬，因为——只有强者才能生存，弱者只能死路一条，优胜劣汰是大自然的规律。
看完了昆虫世界，我们又来到了机器人俱乐部，看见了小丑机器人在为大家表演扔球。扔了半天，可它却一个也没接到，我们大家都哄堂大笑。但它却挠挠头，好像在说：“怎么了，不行么？”接着又是一番哄堂大笑。
今天是个特殊的日子，既是同学们和我的聚会，也为我和家人们的亲密无接触提供了一个机会。
啊，今天我和家人去旅游真开心啊！

而职业又是什么？同样，在辞洋上，它的解释是：
（1）个人所从事的作为主要生活来源的工作，允许他选择他的职业
（2）指分内应当做的事。
理想和职业，就这样穿插在人们的生活中，构造出一个又一个的图画。
而我从小时候，就选定了一个职业，至今永不改变。那就是，作家。
作家，这个神圣的字眼，虽以写作为生，但永不放弃对生活的信念，他们是‘奇妙’的，用那普通的铅笔，构造出一个又一个汉字，最后组成一篇文章，一篇美妙的文章，让人阅读后为之动容。
但也可以说，作家是‘强大’的，尤其是小说家，他们在构造出一个个人物，让那些人物干什么就干什么，同样可以说，作家手里掌握着一个世界，一个奇妙的世界。
但作家也不是那么容易能够当成的。作为以写作为生的职业，他们必须拥有强大的文学功底；必须有才华；必须有丰富的想象力；必须理解和构造任何的语文描写方法；必须有深不可测的能力，能够在他的作品里建筑一个又一个的`迷宫，引导人们走进去，在里面迷失了方向，又突然找到光明的出口；必须有一对锐利的双眼，能看透这世间种种的一切；还必须懂哲学……诸如此类，作家可以说是百里挑一的人，他们可以且必须为自己而感到骄傲。
但是，现代人却不理解作家这个伟大的职业，在网络上，有的作家甚至因为上传作品慢了，而被鄙视，唾骂。当然，读者这种焦急等待的心情我是可以理解的，也可以因此说被鄙视得最多的就是最好的作品，但是，有些人却似乎做得太过火了。
目前，我在作家这个领域上认为最杰出的人是泰戈尔。很奇怪的是，他与我，竟有几分相似（当然这并不代表我以后也会成为一个好作家），同样擅长写散文，同样会作词作曲，因此，我立志将来要成为第二个他。

Dear Family,
You must be greatly surprised when you get this letter, not from anyone else but from your dearest son, since I have never written a letter for ages in such a traditional way. The purpose of my writing is not so much to express my gratitude for bringing me up, as it is to tell you something about my college life.
It has been more than two years since I started my college life and I have adapted myself to the new environment here, even though at the very beginning, I was not quite used to it. My classmates are pretty friendly and they offer to help me whenever need be, which is really precious for me. My teachers tell me the differences between college life and high school life and give me some necessary advice on how to learn in college. Because of their kind-hearted help, I learn to know the importance of cooperation and communications between each other, especially when in Group work.
In the past several months, I have been busy preparing for TEM 4.Therefore, most of the time, I stayed at school and seldom kept in touch with you; I should have been ashamed of this. But now it is completely finished, and I will never do that again. In my spare time, I usually go to play basketball to keep fit since you always ask me to practice more to keep healthy. What is more, I like to go to the English Corner to practice my spoken English in order to improve my oral English level, which is of importance as English major.
Finally, I would like to specially thank you for providing me the best education and experience. Without your support and understanding, it wouldn\'t be the same. In regard to the future, I will make every effort to study for my degree and make the dreams I had envisioned come true.
