城市是如此的美丽，一座座高楼大厦鳞次栉比，形态各异，直插云霄。一块块防紫外线的兰色玻璃在阳光下泛着金光，使得每座楼房都熠熠生辉。高速公路笔直宽敞，汽车川流不息，立交桥密如蛛网，四通八达。在公路两旁，有了更多的美丽的花圃，绿色的草坪，令人赏心悦目。商店里的商品琳琅满目，人们的脸上都洋溢着幸福而满意的笑容。医学科技也日渐发达，人类攻克了不少的癌症，人们也不再有谈“非”色变的恐慌。在城市的人流中，也有黄皮肤，黑皮肤，白皮肤的外国友人，交流中不时有不同的语言声音。
我心中的小康社会之所以能在世界各国中脱颖而出，不仅靠着他自身非凡的新时代气质，还有着大自然独特的魅力。人们再也看不到裸露的黄土，再也闻不到污水的恶臭。人们看见的是湛蓝如洗的天空，闻到的是令人心旷神怡的空气。长江焕然一新，像一条青螺带，缠绕着城市。花儿绽放着欣慰的笑脸，小树扭动着轻快的舞姿，小鸟也“引吭高歌”。广场上和平鸽与人们亲切游戏。自然的美已经融进了城市，与其合为一体，组成了小康社会的一大亮点――花园城市。
伴随着物质文明的进步，精神文明也步入了“小康”。当你步入这个陌生的城市，总会得到一声声亲切的问候，热情的帮助，让你如归故乡，总有着一种埋在心底的熟悉，亲切。每当你走进商店，也都能听见一声温和的“您好”。人们渐渐懂得了说“不”“没事”“没关系”“请原谅”的艺术，也渐渐懂得了弯腰，鞠躬，点头的礼貌。这一切的一切，使这个小康社会更加像一个大家园。
