the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

暑假时光英语作文【六】
——题记
今日整理书房，无意间发现了一只钟表。这只通体黑白的小钟表。让我不禁想起了小时候，这只钟表带给我太多感想……
自我童年记忆开始留意时，父母已经不在身旁，照顾我的是爷爷奶奶。年幼的我眼中，奶奶并不像其他人的奶奶那么老，一方面因为她那时仅有五十多岁。另一方面，奶奶是镇里唯一的小学的做饭阿姨。一天到晚总忙个不停。经常是早晨不到五点钟起床，开始一天的忙碌：提水，生火，添柴，烧水。做好这一切，便回到房中。那时我上一年级，姐姐上四年级，还有一个表妹，是姑姑家的女儿，比我大四个月，也在一年级。每天，当我们还在被窝睡熟之际，便会感到一块湿布擦拭脸的感觉，那便是奶奶。当时，根本就不需要什么钟表，奶奶的生物钟便是最好的钟表。由此，我们便知道，应该起床了。然后静静等奶奶给我们洗完脸，我们才恋恋不舍的从被窝中钻出，刷牙后便立马奔向学校。
记得有一次，我走的匆忙，加之是小孩子，并不喜欢在脸上涂抹什么保湿霜。结果就是，当时奶奶便在自己掌心揩了一些霜直奔我所在的教室，见了我径直走过来，便将手中的保湿霜涂抹在我脸上。别提当时有多尴尬了，所幸的是当时在班的同学并不多，可即使如此，我忍恨不得找个地洞钻进去。当时不是特别理解，直到后来，我方才明白洗脸后及时抹保湿霜的重要性。
随着后来奶奶的变老，我们不止一次迟到。这才决定买一只钟表。一天中午，爷爷买回了这只钟表：高十四五厘米，宽七八厘米，前后厚度约五厘米，像一扇门一样，可以开合，像扇贝那样。后边有一张图片，图中是两个外国小朋友，一男一女七八岁的样子。男孩高出女孩半头，双手插在裤兜里，女孩则身穿白色连衣裙抱着直立的男孩。正前方，像门似的有一扇窗，两旁分别盘踞着两条仿龙，还有两字：幸福。这便是表的大概外观。
听家人说起这表曾出过一次事故。那时房中无一人，电视开着，谁料电源接触不良，电视线路损坏，结果呢？砰的一声。电视炸了……顿时黑烟直冒。也震惊了全镇的'人，那黑烟好久才散去，过了好久才敢进去人看看还有没有幸免的东西，进去之后，屋子完全变为了碳样，黑乎乎的。可神奇的是，这只表当时就在电视左侧，电视爆炸的一瞬间。只是将它震下了桌子，并未震坏，想来，可真是幸运，后来，这只表陆续陪伴我走过了小学的时光。
这只表也可谓算是珍藏了，抱着试探的心情，给它安上一支新电池，它竟还正常运行。不由得心中震撼。或许，这只表本就与我们结下了缘吧。
望向屋外，院中那海棠依旧开得鲜红。

当我把这篇文章读给奶奶听时，她还给我们说起了我们小时候我们忘记的更多事情。脸上荡漾着笑容……
