临近期中的时候，作业比较多，还有一堆复习资料要背诵，我每天晚上11点多才做完作业，把我平时玩的那半小时全占去。
一做完作业，妈妈立刻就催我上床了，我每次都不情愿：“我连玩都没玩到呢，这不公平!为什么你们这么晚睡而我这么早就要睡?”我经常这样抱怨。
得到的回答往往是：“没有什么为什么”或“小孩和大人不一样的”之类的话。一个星期天的晚上，我打破了常规。
那天晚上，我像平时一样被赶上了床，可我在床上翻来覆去，怎么也睡不着。突然，我听见外面妈妈轻声说：“老公，明天我要交钱，天晚了你陪我去银行取钱吧?”然后是爸爸的粗嗓子：“好吧，等一下。”
又过了一会儿，我听见了门打开的声音，然后门又关上了。我又等了一会儿确定没有人了这才偷偷摸摸地起来，轻轻开了台灯，悄悄拿起了本书在灯下看了起来，虽然我在看书，可我的耳朵却一直听着以防爸妈突然回来。
大约过了半个小时，我突然听见了钥匙插入锁中的.声音，我吓的立刻关了灯跳上了床，拉开被子装睡。我真的吓死了，心砰砰直跳。爸妈回来后立刻就上床睡觉了，我渐渐的也进入了梦乡。
当我睡的正香之时，一只手把我的被子一掀将我拽了起来，我一看原来是妈妈。妈妈对我叫着：“你看看都几点了?还有10分钟就要到校了!今天是数学期中考试!快点!”我一听就想：完了，昨天睡晚了，现在没睡够啊。
于是我飞快的穿好衣服洗漱完毕，随便扒了几口早饭就向学校飞奔而去。
我刚放下书包，老师就进来发卷子了。我硬着头皮拿起笔开始写答。每道题目我看过去都有黑影，我的脑子像浆糊一样，思考问题速度也比平时慢了很多很多。我也不细看了随便看了看就写了上去。
下午，老师报成绩了从优秀开始到良好也报完了没有我，开始报及格了，我的心砰砰直跳：我会不会不及格?老天，一定要让我及格啊!
终于，老师说：：“朱珉汐，72分，及格。”我垂头丧气的拿了卷子，回到了座位我一看，全是我会的，还有几道题，犯了几个错“3—1=1”等低级错误。
我真后悔，就为昨夜多玩半小时造成了今天72分的后果。真不值呀!

When time goes by, it will never return. However, it is a pity that some people don't make full use of their time .They spend a lot of time in sleeping, chatting playing computer games or other unmeaning matters. . They don't realize that wasting time is actually equal to killing themselves. They always regret not having made great achievements. One of the reasons may be they do not make good use of time. Therefore, in order to be successful, they should first get into the habit of being on time. It’s a sign of cherishing time. Don't put off what can be done today until tomorrow. Being lazy will eventually lead to failure. Don't wait, because you don't know how long it will take when you put off your plan.
The more we are aware of the significance of this famous saying, the more benefits we will get in study or job.

Sometimes I dream about life in the future. What will it be?
Perhaps some people will go to the moon for a holiday or even live on the moon,and some scientists will build cities under the sea to make people live there. We can have a medical examination or do some shopping without leaving our homes,which makes the life more convenient. Maybe we will also do some shopping and work at home.
And I'm sure there'll be more educational programmes on the radio or TV or by the Intemet or videophones,so perhaps some children won't need to go to school every day. They'll study at home.
In the future,all electric equipment at home is under the con-trol of computers. People can learn about the situation of the house by working on the computer at the office. No people like doing housework. Maybe each family will have a robot. Every day we can tell the robot what to do-shopping,housework and so on. believe the dream will come true some day.
