On the first day of the rest, mom and dad and I went to ningbo sea world and youngor zoo.

In the panda garden, I finally met our national treasure, the giant panda. They are naughty flip, also eat bamboo. Beautiful peacock contended for the tail, to show us their beauty.
Travel over, although very tired, but I am very happy!

5月1日是国际劳动节，劳动的人要休息，庆祝这个节日，那我这个平常不做什么劳动的小学生就要在家里主动劳动喽。
这天早晨，我和爸爸妈妈起床吃过早饭就开始忙了起来。妈妈打开洗衣机准备开始洗衣服。我跑来跑去，一会儿给妈妈递衣服，一会儿给妈妈递洗衣粉，妈妈可高兴了，说我是个好帮手。大衣服都让妈妈洗了，那小衣服就该我洗了。我拿来一个小盆，往里面倒进了一些水，把袜子一只只放进盆里，它们像一只只小企鹅似的，跳进了澡盆里，我拿起肥皂，帮它们洗澡。不一会儿，它们就变得干干净净了。
洗完袜子后，我又去扫地。我拿起扫把，从客厅开始扫起。我仔细地扫着，一个小垃圾和一个小纸屑也不肯放过。扫完后，我又开始拖地，我把先拖把打湿之后，拧干，然后一间房一间房地拖。拖完地后，我叫妈妈来检查我的劳动成果，妈妈说我干得非常好，鼓励我下次继续。
虽然我干了这么多活，但是我还是闲不住，想继续干点什么。突然，我想到了：收拾房间!我每次在家里只知道乱摆东西，从来不知道收拾东西。今天我要来尝试一下怎么收拾了。首先，我把不经常用的书放进书柜里，然后，把经常用的书放进了纸箱里;接着，我又把衣服叠好，放进衣柜里;最后，我把一些小杂物放进了杂物盒里。
“唉，终于干完了!”我长叹了一口气，坐在沙发上休息。妈妈见我坐下休息了，马上坐到我身旁语重心长地说：“宝贝，今天你可体会到了劳动得辛苦了吧!其实劳动并不容易，所以国家才规定每年的5月1日为劳动节，让劳动人民能够休息，庆祝一下自己的节日。”
通过今天的劳动，虽然感觉有些累，但是心里还是感到很有成就感，同时也体会到了妈妈的辛苦。正是有了妈妈的辛苦劳动，家里才变得井井有条，干净卫生。也正是因为有了辛苦劳动的农民伯伯，我们才有了粮食和蔬菜吃;有了辛苦劳动的建筑工人;我们才有了高楼大厦;有了辛苦劳动的医务工作者，人们的健康和生命才有了保障。也正是有了无数各行各业辛苦劳动的人们，我们的生活才变得更加美好。我由衷地感叹：“劳动最光荣”!

Founder of Labor Day
More than 100 years after the first Labor Day observance， there is still some doubt as to who first proposed the holiday for workers.
Some records show that Peter J. McGuire， general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners and a cofounder of the American Federation of Labor， was first in suggesting a day to honor those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold."
But Peter McGuire"s place in Labor Day history has not gone unchallenged. Many believe that Matthew Maguire， a machinist， not Peter McGuire， founded the holiday. Recent research seems to support the contention that Matthew Maguire， later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson， N.J， proposed the holiday in 1882 while serving as secretary of the Central Labor Union in New York. What is clear is that the Central Labor Union adopted a Labor Day proposal and appointed a committee to plan a demonstration and picnic.

我们欢欢喜喜得到全省闻名的江南孔雀园去游玩。到了那儿，我们先观赏了孔雀，然后去了江南马会骑马。我一开始非常非常的害怕，十分十分的害怕，特别特别的害怕，只好让教练员带着我骑马。骑了一圈，感觉不过瘾，而且教员带我骑马感觉我很胆小的样子，所以还想骑。可我让我骑，时间不让我骑呀!不知不觉中已经到中午了，我们要到孔雀园里的餐厅里去吃饭。
我吃过饭了，爸爸妈妈要回家了。我因为想骑马，所以拉着妈妈恳求她在留一会儿。经过我的再三恳求，妈妈答应了。于是我们又一次来到了马会。呀，那里的人都排成了长队。我的心顿时凉了半截。总不能一直等吧?大人们也没这个耐心，就去打牌了。我们小孩子又没什么玩的，在那儿等了一会儿，想看看书，打发打发时间。但是怎么也看不进去，心里只想着骑马。好不容易，在快要回家的时候，舅舅说带我再去骑一次马。我高兴的一本三尺高，嘴里大叫“耶，耶!”我这次强烈要求一个人骑。但训练员说我太小，有危险，不能自己一个人骑。我用尽自己全部的智慧，叽里呱啦的说了一大堆话。我自己都惊叹平时不善于表达的我哪来这么多的话。那训练员禁不住我滔滔不绝、连绵不断的口水攻势，终于答应了。我跨上马背，双脚一蹬，马就跑起来了。我拼命的蹬马的肚子。马快速的跑着，不是从鼻腔里发出“哼哼”声。好像再说：“老兄，玩命啊?”跑完半圈，出现一个拐弯口。我左手一拉缰绳，轻轻松松的拐了过去。但在回头的时候拉了一滩屎。我用眼神跟他说：“你这种行为可不文明，我要到卫生部去告你!”马也用眼神回答我：“嘿嘿，我一定改，一定。”不知不觉，已经一圈过去了。我们也要回去了我。这次我终于体验了自己骑马的感觉，觉得很快乐。
时间如水，“哗哗哗”的流着，在不知不觉中失去。五一劳动节着快乐的一天就这样过去了。我们坐上汽车，回到了家。但我的心还留在孔雀园里……
