我的妈妈个子不高，长着一头长长的秀发，作文 我的妈妈。她那一双明亮的眼睛炯炯有神，黑黑的眼珠子像两颗圆溜溜的珍珠在眼眶里闪烁。额头下那弯弯的眉毛像两弯新月一样美丽。她的皮肤白白净净，跟我这黑黝黝的皮肤真是天壤之别。妈妈的脸上还经常挂着一丝笑容，看上去十分亲切和蔼。
我的妈妈十分勤劳。我们家里许多繁杂的家务都是她做的，洗衣服、做饭、打扫卫生这些事情她都做得认真细致。我十分顽皮，每天穿的衣服总是弄得很脏。每次妈妈洗我的衣服总是仔仔细细地洗，不断的揉来揉去，有时还用刷子用力地刷来刷去。我每次看到妈妈洗衣服时辛苦的样子，心里感到很惭愧。这时，我都会暗下决心：以后再不要把衣服弄得太脏了。有一天放学回家，我看到妈妈正在家里打扫卫生。只见她手中紧紧拿着抹布，踮着脚，抬着头，很费力地擦那些高高的窗户，额头上还冒出一颗颗汗珠。我的妈妈还有一手好厨艺，她做的饭菜香喷喷的`，赢得了许多亲友的赞美。我最喜欢吃她做的香菇炖鸡、番茄炒鸡蛋，可好吃了！
我的妈妈非常疼爱我，生活上无微不至地照顾我。她总是牵挂着我的健康和安全，她常常告诫我：要注意穿衣服，别感冒了；上学路上过马路和在校园里玩耍都要注意安全。有一次，我在上学路上摔倒了。回到家里，妈妈看到我的伤口，十分心疼。她用盐水给我的伤口消毒，还很温柔地用棉签擦去伤口上的血迹。在妈妈的细心照料下，我的伤口很快就痊愈了。我真该好好地感谢我亲爱的妈妈！
我的妈妈有时脾气怪怪的。虽然她经常面带微笑，可是她也会因为一点小事而发火生气，很急躁。有一天晚上，爸爸忘记了设闹钟。第二天早晨妈妈起床就快八点了，上班就要迟到了。妈妈气冲冲的对爸爸发火了，凶巴巴地说：“叫你设闹钟，你竟然给忘了，气大！”她慌慌张张地洗脸刷牙，穿好鞋子，走出门去，只见她把门砰的一声关了，紧接着就是她那一串匆匆忙忙的脚步声。

记得有一天晚上，我被渴醒了，蒙蒙胧胧中看见妈妈还没睡，她还在检查我的作业。那背影看上去好疲惫，我没有打扰妈妈。
还记得有一次，我突然发起高烧，妈妈急得像热锅上的蚂蚁。她一会儿给我量体温，一会儿又给我喝水，她一夜没有睡。第二天，我发现妈妈憔悴了许多，红肿的眼睛，黄黄的脸再加上几缕银丝，看上去就像大病了一场。
这几天妈妈身体有些不舒服，就要我多关心妈妈了。可是我总感觉自己笨手笨脚的，想帮妈妈，可总是事与愿违，老帮倒忙。帮妈妈洗碗，碗就像和我作对，一不小心，碗就从手里滑了下来，掉在地上，碎了！帮妈妈烧水，早忘得一干二净，一会儿，一股刺鼻液化气味儿，赶紧把气关了。你猜我看见什么了？壶里的水就剩下一半，火已被水溢灭了！没办法，我只好把剩下的水倒掉，听妈妈讲，开水烧得时间长了就会有毒。
还有一次，妈妈很累，躺在床上睡着了，我想借这个机会表现一番，就帮妈妈做起了西红柿炒鸡蛋。结果，火候没掌握好，鸡蛋全煳了，煳鸡蛋就像非洲人的脸。害得妈妈亲自下手。
不过，我也有聪明的时候。比如，妈妈有时不舒服，她老忘记什么时候吃药，可我记得牢呢，我会及时提醒这个粗心的妈妈按时吃药。
看来，要真正关心好妈妈，还不是一件简单事呢，这中间还有好多学问呢。

How about you and my father?
I arrivedin Guangzhoulast Friday safely,butthe journey wasnotpleasant. The train was crowded and dirty, and I was terribly tired when I got here. After a short rest, I feel quit good now.
Uncle's family are all very well. They were very happy to see me and theyare all kind to me. Cousin Wei Ping is really warm-hearted, and he has been showing me around the city these days. We have many things in common so that we can talk to each other all the day.Tonight Wei Ping and I are going to a concert. We both like the star very much.I'm sure we'll have a good time.
Guangzhou is a beautiful city, and a bustling one as well. Life here is busy,butexciting and colourful. I love the way people work and live here and I hope to have a chance to work and live in this city when I grow up.

妈妈做饭的时候，我会帮妈妈洗菜，衣服在洗衣机里洗完后，我会帮妈妈晒衣服，有时还会帮妈妈扫扫地，擦擦桌子。妈妈口渴了我就会倒一杯水给妈妈喝。而爸爸呢，没木头装的时候就好吃懒做，每天不是玩电脑，就是去打麻将。有木头装的时候，妈妈腰不好，也要去装木头。广州，花都，三水，佛山，深圳，清远等地方都去卖过，今天去了，后天才回来，一回来马上就洗澡，洗完后马上睡觉。有时，我还煮面给妈妈吃，我煮的面味道还不错，是跟妈妈学的。
妈妈腰不好，又要去装木头，真是辛苦。可是她为了这个家，从来都没有怨言。一方面照顾好我们，一方面又在外面努力赚钱。作为儿子，我要好好关心妈妈，让她过得开心。我还要努力学习，将来做一个有出息的人，回报妈妈对我们的爱。

I also want to tell you one thing, I love you so much. I usually talk back to you when you say that I don't study hard enough. But in fact I just want you to praise me more. Can you imagine that I’m now in the United States, a country so different from China? Everything is new and interesting! I made some friends on the trip over and they have been very kind and helpful. They had some strange ways of describing their hunger.
