月3日，尚志市抗战老兵、烈士遗属、现役军人、预备役军官、民兵、中小学生和机关干部代表500余人来到尚志烈士陵园，在珠河抗日游击队纪念碑前奏唱《国歌》，向革命烈士默哀，向珠河抗日游击队纪念碑敬献花篮和鲜花，开展清明节祭扫革命烈士墓集中纪念活动。
尚志市是全国四个以抗日民族英雄名字命名的城市之一，国家一类革命老区，原名珠河县。半个多世纪之前，赵尚志、赵一曼率领抗联将士与日寇在在这里殊死搏斗的英雄壮举激励了一代又一代中华儿女奋勇前行。为纪念抗日民族英雄赵尚志，1946年珠河县更名为尚志县，1948年原苇河县并入尚志县，1988年经国务院批准撤县设市。抗联将士所体现的“百折不挠、勇为人先”的“尚志精神”，成为今天尚志城市人文精神的重要依托。
据了解，该市“缅怀革命先烈 弘扬尚志精神”清明节祭扫革命烈士墓活动，还分别在市区赵尚志将军塑像、赵尚志纪念园英烈群雕、赵一曼纪念园、赵一曼牺牲地和革命烈士碑、墓等地点开展重温入党誓词、少先队入队仪式、祭扫烈士墓等纪念活动。
