我把听到的故事讲给爸爸听，并说了我的想法，爸爸却说：“现在咱们家里有了点钱，但那是要给你上学用的，将来你还要上高中、上大学！”我不服，还想说什么，爸爸一看，说：“我还有个生意要谈，有事晚上再说！”我看着消失在门外的身影，失望极了，像只泄了气的皮球无精打采。妈妈对我说：“你爸是个死脑筋，说不通的。”“哼，我就不信这个邪。”我琢磨着，以前家里很穷，老爸也没机会念书……我灵光一闪，眼睛一亮，“有了，就用这招：晓之以理，动之以情，我看你还会不会开窍！”
晚上，我做完一切，就坐在客厅里哼着曲儿，自个儿直乐。爸爸回来看见了，问：“珍儿，今晚怎么有空闲，来陪老爸聊聊。”我心里一乐：“正合我意。”但却装作勉为其难地说：“好吧！”我俩天南地北地说了一通后，我突然问道：“老爸，我听爷爷说，以前我们家很穷，连三餐都顾不上，是真的吗？”爸爸感慨地讲起过去的事。“噢，原来爸没念过书！”“是呀！我希望你上大学，替爸爸争一口气。”我看时机已经成熟，就向爸爸展开攻势，在我猛烈的“炮火”下，爸爸服了，他沉思了一会儿，说：“将心比心，我很同情她们。嗯，我的女儿懂事了，现在我想通了，明天我们就去献上一份爱心。”
我兴奋得像只刚脱笼的鸟直叫。我想：老师说过，知识越用越灵光。如今，我一试，还真是这个理儿。

On the afternoon of October 28, the weather was particularly sunny. The day I had been looking forward to for two weeks finally came. Today, we are going to the emergency rescue training base of the Municipal Red Cross Society to learn first aid knowledge and skills.
We took a bus to our destination. First of all, the volunteers of the Municipal Red Cross Society explained to us the origin, functions and components of the Red Cross movement.
From his introduction, I know that may 8 is the World Red Cross Day every year. The bright red red cross represents the spirit of humanity, fraternity and dedication.
