端午节英语作文 五年级【一】
端午节是我们中国的传统节日。端午节这一天，我们大家都要吃粽子，这是谁都知道的。当然，还不止这一个习俗，还有：赛龙舟、挂香包、采艾篙、喝雄黄酒等。
回想去年的端午节，真让人难忘！
端午节那天，我们一家三口在家里准备包粽子。那是我第一次包粽子，既好奇又兴奋。看到妈妈拿出早就准备好的原料：有粽叶、糯米、红枣等。这粽叶又大又长，绿绿的；这糯米又香又甜，白白的；这红枣又大又圆，红红的。光看着这些东西就已经馋得我垂涎三尺。一切准备就绪后，爸爸开始包了，只见他流利地把粽叶卷成漏斗状，然后把糯米和红枣塞到粽叶里，再把上面的叶子折下来，就成了个三角形状的物体，最后用绳子缠好，一个粽子就做好了。
我看了就说：“这么简单索，让我来包。”妈妈说让她在一旁给我指导，我连忙摇摇头说：“不用，不用，我已经会包了，你们就看我的吧！”我先学爸爸一样把粽叶卷成漏斗状，可这个却难倒了我，怎么样也弄不好，等我把糯米和红枣塞到粽叶里，哪知这个粽叶不听使唤，一下就蹦开了，糯米和红枣顿时就洒了一地，我非常失望，生气地说：“我不包了。”爸爸语重心长地对我说：“刚才是谁在那说简单的嘛，怎么这么快就打退堂鼓了，遇到困难，就想要逃避。做一件事情，要认真地去做，刚开始做不好，这是正常的，只要你坚持下去，就一定有好结果。”听到爸爸的话，我非常羞愧，脸像红苹果一样红。
我重新走到餐桌边，坐下来后全神贯注地包起来，在妈妈的帮助下，我包的第一个粽子出炉了，看着它，心里充满了成就感。是呀！认认真真包的粽子就是漂亮！爸爸妈妈笑了，我也笑了。
去年的端午节，真让人难忘呀！我不但学会了包粽子，还明白了不少道理。

端午节自古是中国的节日，可联合国却将它定为韩国的节日，这毫无道理!荒谬!
中国古代用十二天干、二十四地支来计年，而端午正是从中取出二字拼凑而成。这个节日的名称正是中国特有的计年法，这端午节怎么不是中国的呢?
再来说说屈原。屈原是两千年前战国时期楚国的宰相，因为被奸臣所害，被贬到了汨罗江当县令。后来楚国灭亡，爱国的他投江自***了。当地老百姓很想念屈原，划着独木舟将粽子投进河中，由此来纪念屈原。屈原是中国人，战国也是中国的历史时期，这么明显的事例指向一个答案——端午节是中国的!每逢端午节，我们都会包粽子，各式各样的粽子很是惹人喜爱。有肉馅的、蛋黄馅的、豆沙馅的……几千年来，吃粽子早已成为端午节的标志性活动。而韩国在当时还只是游牧民族，并没有这习俗。中国人开始过节时，韩国还未成型，这端午节当然是中国的啊!
赛龙舟也是端午节的重头戏。每逢端午，全国各地的人都会赛龙舟。在江上奋力拼搏的青年，岸边观赛叫好的观众，都是一道亮丽的风景线。赛龙舟是体现中国人团结的运动，因此，赛龙舟是个很好的证明，端午节就是中国的。这么多证据都可以证明，端午节本来就属于中国。联合国怎能将它定为韩国的呢?历史告诉我们：韩国的年轮只有七八百年而端午节的起源是战国时期。
虽然几十年中国的确没有放假，可端午节肯定是属于中国的啊!无论从前，现在，还是以后，端午节都是中国的!历史是不会改变的!

I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

我过了许多有趣的节日，可今年的端午节是我最快乐，最难忘的。
端午节那天，我和妈妈早上去菜场买了一些棕叶、糯米。回到家里妈妈把一个盆子里装了水，把棕叶放在里面，我很纳闷就问妈妈：“妈妈，为什么要把棕叶泡在水里？”妈妈说：“棕叶泡在水里才不会发干变硬，这样我们才好包呀！”噢，原来如此。
妈妈洗好米，也将米泡在水里，我连忙对妈妈说：“妈妈，米泡在水里，也是和棕叶一样的道理吧！”妈妈点点头说：“是的。”
终于开始包棕子了，只见妈妈将两片棕叶重叠在一起，将大的一头圈成一个漏斗的样子，然后放入米，再把多余的叶子顺着漏斗包裹起来，最后将绳子横在三个角中间，绑好两个角，这样一个棕子就诞生了。
我也学着妈妈的样子包，可是我的棕子真是漏斗，一不小心，米就一粒一粒的往下落，妈妈告诉我在卷成漏斗形状时要注意不能有缝，那样就真成了漏斗了，米在放进去的时候也要按紧了这样煮出来的米才结实。我小心翼翼的包着，终于我成功了，我特意将我包的棕子用绳子系好，这是我的劳动成果，我要留作纪念。
我很高兴，我学会了包棕子，所以我忘不了今年的端午节。

我国有许多节日，如春节、元宵节、中秋节等，但最令我难忘的是端午节。据说，著名的爱国诗人屈原被害投河后，百姓马上相救，可始终不见屈原的尸体。
人们就划着船在河里找屈原。百姓们怕江河里的鱼吃他的身体，就纷纷回家拿米团，投入河里。纪念屈原的这些活动，就变成了我所知道的端午节。
端午节那天，我早早地起了床，准备吃粽子了。粽子的馅有肉、蛋黄、豆沙、枣子等多种。剥开绿油油的粽叶，里面就是香喷喷的粽子了！真像一个粽子精灵披着一件绿色的棉袄呢！我要开始吃粽子了，我一口咬下去，啊，粽子真好吃啊！这又香又甜的味道一直到我的心里，使人陶醉了。我真喜欢粽子呀！吃完粽子，妈妈还会给我挂上香囊，香囊里有许多中药，闻起来清香扑鼻，可是，蚊子却很怕这种味道，挂了香囊之后，蚊子就不会咬我了。
香囊的用处可真好啊！端午节我们还要吃五黄：咸鸭蛋、黄鳝、黄酒、黄瓜和黄鱼。据说，吃了五黄就会平安如意。端午节最热闹的要数赛龙舟了。我虽然只在电视上看过赛龙舟，但是，那热闹的场面已经牢牢地吸引我了。我想下次一定要去看看赛龙舟，为我增加端午节的知识。端午节虽然没有春节、中秋节那么热闹，但是，端午节有很多民俗，让我能感受到中国的传统文化，我喜欢端午节！

我一年里最喜欢过的节日就是端午节了。端午节又叫“端阳节”、“重五节”等，是农历的五月初五，俗称“端午节”，“端”是“开端”、“初”的意思。端午节是我国汉族人民的传统节日。这一天必不可少的活动是：吃粽子、赛龙舟、插艾草、喝雄黄酒等。据说，吃粽子和赛龙舟是为了纪念屈原。
端午节一早，我刚睁开眼，就看到母亲在门外忙着什么。过去一看，原来母亲在插艾草，餐桌上还摆着用艾草煮成的鸡蛋和几个香喷喷的粽子。这时，我才想起今天是端午节。看着煮的绿绿的鸡蛋和香喷喷的粽子，口水都忍不住要留下来，几分钟，两个鸡蛋和一个粽子就没了影。
到了晚上，我们到祖父家一起过端午。饭菜上完了，祖父从柜子里拿出一瓶像是药酒的什么东西，还要我们每人喝一口。我问祖父：“这是什么呀？”祖父笑着说：“这是雄黄酒喝了能避邪的。”我端过雄黄酒，喝了一口，感觉辣辣的，但心里想着：“这样我就能避邪了，辣算什么。”
吃完饭，我们全家一起到大明湖去看龙舟。来到大明湖，发现有许多人在湖边等着看龙舟比赛呢。我们找了一块“绝佳”的观看场地，来观看龙舟赛。只见参赛的龙舟一字排开，龙舟大约10米长，半米宽。龙舟上的人，有的在商量战术配合，有的在做热身。岸上的观众都为哪条龙舟能夺冠猜测着。我看中了一条绿色的龙舟，这条龙舟上的人都很健壮，热身做的也很充分。正想着，比赛就要开始了。
站在船上的发令员一声枪响，几十条龙舟像蛟龙一样，在水中穿行着。那条绿色的龙舟处于第五名，船上的击鼓手奋力地呐喊着，激励船员们奋力前行。我也呐喊着，用全部的热情我支持的龙舟加油。观众们也都紧握双手，期望自己支持的龙舟夺冠。我呐喊着，为那条绿色龙舟加油。船员们仿佛听到了我的加油，更加奋力地划着。只见绿色龙舟超越了另外两支龙舟成为了第三，这时，他们又超越了一条龙舟。我更加卖力的呐喊，希望他们能夺冠。绿色的龙舟已经于第一名齐头并进了，这时距离终点还有50米，船员们奋力地划，终于取得了第一名，这时绿色龙舟已经冲过了重点。“14号龙舟是冠军”随着裁判员的宣布，全岸观众沸腾了。我也为绿色龙舟的好表现欢呼。顿时，大明湖成了欢乐的海洋。
我恋恋不舍的离开了大明湖，端午节虽然过去了，但它留给了我许多美好的记忆。
