记得妈妈过30岁生日时，请了很多朋友到家里来。理所当然，得用好酒好菜招待。当时我还小，烧菜做饭的'事根本插不上手，只有奶奶做妈妈的帮手。
妈妈和奶奶联手“开刀”，一起在厨房忙碌。
“番茄放哪儿了？鸡蛋又放哪儿了？本来要做番茄炒蛋的，两样东西都找不到了，那怎么做番茄炒蛋啊？”妈妈手忙脚乱地找着东西。
“呀，油怎么没有啦？洁洁，快去店里帮我买瓶油！”
“妈妈，你啊真是越急越糊涂，地上不是还放着一瓶油吗？番茄和鸡蛋不是在桌子上吗？现在可以做番茄炒蛋了呀！”
妈妈悄然大悟，笑眯眯地点点头，“还是洁洁记性好。”
看着妈妈忙里忙外的背影，我脑海里突然闪过一个念头：这到底是谁的生日啊？如果是妈妈的生日，那忙里忙外的不应该是妈妈的身影呵！
我真的希望忙里忙外的身影是我，可是当时我还小，还不能担当如此“大任”。所以，我只能呆呆地望着妈妈的背影，想着：我长大了，一定要给妈妈过轻松的生日。等我能挣钱了，妈妈生日那天，就给妈妈买漂亮的衣服，把亲戚朋友带到气派的酒家。我妈妈坐在豪华的大厅里，接受别人的祝福，让妈妈成为耀眼的主角。
