On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

今天，我和爸爸、妈妈去北京天文馆参观。
我们观看了四部电影，各不相同。第一部电影名叫《逃离恐龙岛》，这是一部科幻3D电影。我们的座位看上去很像一辆汽车，我们抓紧保险架，和影片里的记者阿姨一起营救困在火山的恐龙。我们一会儿上山，一会儿入海，我们的座椅也在不停地摇动，仿佛身临其境，立体电影的恐龙朝我们甩动大尾巴，大家都向旁边躲闪。哈哈，真有趣!第二部电影是《宇宙探秘》，我们坐在一个圆球一样的电影院里，看圆圆的房顶上投射的电影。
一位叫伽利略的老爷爷给我们讲了许多我以前没有听说的故事。他说，站在地球上观看大熊座的北斗七星，它们的形状像一把勺子，但是从宇宙的不同角度观看大熊座的北斗七星，可以看到不同的形状，真奇妙!他还给我们讲了地球黄道附近的星座和银河系里的行星和它的卫星。第三个电影叫《迷离的星际》，这是一部SGI电影，它告诉我们太阳也是有寿命的，它会慢慢变成一颗有大又亮的红巨星，可以吞下水星、金星和地球!然后，太阳会慢慢地变成一颗白矮星。
看着那些美丽而神秘星云和黑洞，虽然我似懂非懂，但是我很感兴趣。第四部电影是一部4D电影，名字叫《穿越寒武纪》。它讲的是史前生物在寒武纪时期大爆发，出现了三叶虫、奇虾、海口鱼等。三叶虫的背上有两条深深的沟，把身体分成了三份，也许这就是它名字的来历吧。奇虾不是虾，它是肉食动物，也是当时最凶猛的海洋霸主，它体型巨大，长长的大钳子能把三叶虫夹成碎片。
海口鱼是最早的脊椎动物，它游泳速度比奇虾还快，逃过了地球上发生的许多灾难，成为现代生物的祖先。哈哈!一边看电影，一边会有水珠和风吹在脸上，腿上也痒痒的，仿佛小虫子在挠我们，太有趣了!
今天真难忘啊。

暑假里，我和妈妈很高兴来到了北京旅游。第一天我们来到了位于市中心的故宫博物院参观并游览。
走进故宫的大门，人山人海，不过丝毫没有影响我游览故宫的心情。“哇!这里真大啊!”我情不自禁的喊起来。”我们首先参观了故宫的建筑模型和它的建筑构建。导游说：“故宫占地72万多平方米，共有宫殿9999间半。宫殿为青白石底座，高大的屋脊，黄色的琉璃瓦，到处是龙的图案，并饰以金壁辉煌的色彩。故宫它的气势宏伟，规划严整，极为壮观”。
我们从御花园一直游览到太和殿，真是叹为观止呀!在故宫里，最引人注目的要算是“三大殿”了：太和殿、中和殿、保和殿。它们都建在汉白玉砌成的8米高的台基上，远远望去犹如神话中的琼楼玉宇。我花了九牛二虎之力才挤进去，里面有许多以前皇上用过的家具，破破烂烂的，还有蜘蛛网!我奇怪地问：“妈妈，这些是什么东西呀!乱七八糟的!”妈妈说：“其实以前这里有很多珍宝，但蒋介石逃到台湾时掠走了宫中的许多珍宝，还有一些流失在国外”。听到这里我有些惋惜，我为这些宝物的流失而感到难过。
故宫一游使我流连忘返。故宫的建筑实在是无以伦比的杰作，它真是一个奇迹!我们中国五千年的文化博大精深，我们应该为古人建造这么宏伟壮丽的宫殿感到骄傲和自豪。同时，我们也有责任保护这些文物古迹不受到破坏，让祖国五千年的灿烂文明万古流传。
