岁月如梭，光阴似箭，咋眼见，又一个“三八妇女节”到来了。为了感恩母亲。学校要求星期一的下午美术课上，我们要给母亲亲手做一个特殊的礼物——康乃馨。
转眼间，美术课来临了，老师忙给我们放了一段关于制作康乃馨的视频。后面，我们就要制作了。
看别人做和自己亲手做是两码事，当初看视频时，觉得没有什么挑战性，可当我自己做时，才发现，这远远比我想像的要难得多。光第一步，剪圆就废了我好多纸，所以，可想而知，后面的做法会 越来越难。
终于，在废了不下十张纸后，我终于完成了前面的制作。期间，我还有几次差点剪到自己的手。但一想到这是给母亲做的，我就在次燃起了斗志。可是，老天故意给我作对，下课了，当我手忙脚乱 地收拾桌子时，我的半成品被我一不小心收拾到了废纸内，扔掉了，当我想起来时，它已经不再了。
我沮丧地回到了家里，望着忙碌的母亲，不由得再次迸发斗志，在做完作业时。我又立马拿出工具，开始再一次的制作，第一次失败，第二次失败，第三次，第四次，都以失败告终。可他们并没有 打击到我，我怀着不放弃地可贵的精神废了九牛二虎之力，总算做成了一个康乃馨。再一看时间：10点了，我悄悄地来到妈妈卧室把花放在床头柜上，小心翼翼地撤了出去。
第二天，妈妈高兴的拿着康乃馨在屋里晃。当我起来后，妈妈连忙对我说：“扬扬，谢谢你给我的康乃馨。”我一笑，在心里想到，儿子的想法无非就是让父母开心地过好每一天。这份特殊的礼物 包含了儿子对母亲的爱。愿它永远存在。
