My father loves his family, and loves his work even better. In the company, he is called workaholic He spends most of his time working, and often forgets to have meals or to go to bed.As a result,he doesnt enjoy good health. My father likes reading in his spare time. He told me reading was very interesting. I became interested in reading little by little. I like books, because they help me in many ways. My father has a bad habit he likes smoking very much. I hate it. See, the house is full of smoke. I know its bad for his health as well as mothers and mine. I advise him to give up smoking. 爸爸的生日英语短作文【四】
今天是4月30日，是个特别的日子，今天是贝贝爸爸的生日。
贝贝一放学回家，就和妈妈到蛋糕店里去买生日蛋糕，她们买了一个大大的三层蛋糕，第一层是由紫莹莹葡萄做成的，第二层是由浓浓的巧克力做成的，最上面的那层是奶油，上面还用草莓摆出了一个心形呢!这个蛋糕可是贝贝和妈妈精心为爸爸准备的。
接着，贝贝和妈妈来到了花店，买了一束又粉又嫩的月季花，上面还系着红丝带，红丝带上面写着“爸爸，生日快乐!”。
回到家以后，妈妈把生日蛋糕小心翼翼地放在铺着小红布的蓝桌子上，又放上了几瓶汽水，贝贝还穿上了自己最爱的粉色连衣裙呢!她手里捧着买来的月季花，依偎在妈妈身边，妈妈刚安静地坐在椅子上，她们耐心地等待着爸爸回来，准备给爸爸一个惊喜。
可是，时间一分一秒地过去，都9点钟了，爸爸还没回来，贝贝着急地问妈妈：“爸爸怎么还不回来?”妈妈说：“咱们再等等吧!”这时，电话铃声突然响了起来，贝贝连忙跑去接电话，电话里传来了爸爸亲切地声音：“贝贝，今天爸爸可能回不去了，因为爸爸的工作是治病救人，今天医院来了个病人，急需做手术。”贝贝一听，伤心地说：“爸爸，今天可是您的生日啊，我和妈妈……”可没等贝贝说完，电话就挂掉了，贝贝一下子就哭了起来。妈妈见了，安慰她说：“没关系，咱们可以明天再陪爸爸一起开心地过生日，抢救病人对爸爸来说更重要呀!”贝贝听了妈妈的话，擦干了眼泪，说：“妈妈，我为我有一个负责任的好爸爸而自豪!”

今天，是贝贝爸爸的生日。妈妈和贝贝准备为爸爸庆祝一下，好让爸爸回来大吃一惊。
看，精美的大蛋糕在桌子上散发着诱人的香气，两个紫色的杯子里装满了爸爸最爱喝的饮料。贝贝还给爸爸准备了一份生日礼物----一束美丽的鲜花。鲜花上系了一条鲜艳的红色丝带，上面贝贝亲手写了几个大字：爸爸，生日快乐!为爸爸准备的生日派对真丰富啊!
可是妈妈和贝贝左等右等都不见爸爸回家，贝贝自言自语：“爸爸怎么还不回来?”这时“叮铃铃”电话响了，原来是爸爸打来的：“今天我要加班，回来晚一些。”
贝贝失望极了：“唉!今天可是重大的日子呀!爸爸也太不给力了!”妈妈叫贝贝别等了，但贝贝不同意: “不行，我一定要等爸爸回来。”贝贝一直手捧着鲜花，静静地靠在妈妈的怀里，她们一起坐在桌边，焦急地等待着。
等呀等，已经八点半了，“吱扭---”开门声打破了屋里的宁静，贝贝高兴地叫：“爸爸，你终于回来了!”贝贝赶紧把鲜花递过去：“爸爸，祝你生日快乐!你辛苦了!”爸爸看到鲜花和蛋糕惊喜地说：“谢谢你们，我都忙得忘了自己的生日了。”
