“香九龄，能温席；孝于亲，所当执”，孝敬长辈是我们中华民族的传统美德。从小到大，爷爷奶奶、爸爸妈妈给了我多少爱，我的成长饱含着他们多少心血和期望。而我却总是心安理得地接受，理所当然地享受着他们为我所做的.一切。直到那一天，我才知道，原来，我的一个小小的举动能让长辈们如此开心……
那是寒假的一天，奶奶去了村里开会，回来时，她走路一瘸一拐的。我看出了异样，连忙问：“奶奶，你怎么了？”“哦，没什么。”奶奶轻描淡写地说，“只是脚扭了。”我一听，连忙叫奶奶坐下来，脱下袜子一看，脚踝处已经肿了好大一块。我想起上次打篮球脚扭了之后，老师用冷水在我脚上冲了好几分钟。于是，我去盛了一盆冷水，想让奶奶把脚浸在水里。可转念一想，这么冷的天，奶奶的脚怎么伸得进冰凉的水中？我还是拿个勺子，帮奶奶一勺一勺地冲吧，这样可能会稍微好点。我找来一个勺子，舀了一些水，冲在奶奶的脚上。“哟！真冷！”奶奶叫起来。我说：“越冷越好，这样冷水可以让你的血管收缩，里面不会出太多血。最好要在扭了之后立刻冲洗，现在已经肿了起来，有些晚了。但是至少可以让你从7天痊愈变成5天痊愈。”“你懂得可真多！”奶奶笑着说。我低着头，专心往奶奶的脚上冲水。渐渐地，我看到肿块上的一些血丝退去了。“哦，对了。”我突然想起重要的一点，“这只扭伤的脚，24小时内不能泡在温水或热水中。否则恢复起来就慢了。”我拿着勺子，冲了一遍又一遍，手都有些发酸了。我抬起头来，看到奶奶正笑眯眯地看着我。“奶奶，你还疼吗？”“不了，一点都不疼了！”
水冲完了，我又找出了上次用过的“好得快”，把剩下来的“好得快”药剂，轻轻喷在奶奶的脚踝处。“我的孙子真乖，懂得孝敬长辈了！”奶奶开心地笑着，脸上的皱纹都漾成了一朵花……
