***有一句诗句：不到长城非好汉。今天，我终于可以当一回“好汉”，登上万里长城了，我的心情显得格外激动。
来到万里长城“脚下”一阵阵微风向我们吹来，不时传来鸟儿动听的歌声。四面八方都是人山人海，许多外国人也来这里参观，真是热闹非凡！
刚开始登上万里长城，路比较宽，人比较多。我发现长城的梯级很高，长城附近的山坡上长满了盛开的花朵和树苗，还有许许多多的鸟儿在翩翩起舞。继续往前走，我们越走越高了，路也越走越窄人也越来越少了，但是风景却越来越美了。极目远眺，一座又一座的青山蜿蜒起伏，连绵不断。仿佛一条卧龙躺在山上休息。听导游说，中国的万里长城是在月球上往地球看，唯一能看到的建筑物，因为它横跨几省，跨度非常大。长城是中国的象征它是在秦始皇在生时建的，当时秦始皇为了建好长城，强拉壮丁，那时候有许多人为了建长城，牺牲了生命。所以自古就有“孟姜女哭长城”的故事。听说这个故事是因为一个有名叫孟姜女的女人，她的丈夫被强拉去修建长城，为了去找丈夫，孟姜女不惜爬山涉水来到长城下，最后她知道丈夫已经死了，在长城上哭了七天七夜，最后成了一块化石。
我一边走一边想：现在我们爬上长城已经觉得这么辛苦了，真不知道古代的劳动人民是怎样在山上修建出一座这么宏伟的建筑。也许他们是凭着坚持的信念，一直坚持到最后的吧！只要坚持，就能建好长城；只要坚持，就能克服所有困难；只要坚持，就能看到希望。古代劳动人民们就是这样的坚强，就是这样的努力，最终把我们举世无双的万里长城修建好的。
晚上，万里长城上照着五彩缤纷的灯光，显得格外美丽，它就像一条五颜六色的丝带。啊！万里长城是我们中国的象征，他是我们中国古代老代劳动人民的心血结晶，所以我们要好好爱护长城，让这个宏伟的建筑可以永远留在中国，留在人们心中！
