母亲因病离世，寒冷的冬压迫着这孤苦的孩子，如童话《卖火柴的小女孩》中讲述的一样，她怀着未能完成的愿望冻死在了学校围墙外，她，活活冻死了!当阳光又照耀着大地时，人们发现了她的尸体，并意外地从这位女孩身上发现了57美分以及一张字迹模糊的纸条：“为了能把这所学校扩建得更大，使所有的穷孩子都能进到里面读书，我已经忍饥挨饿很久足足攒了57美分啦……!”人们瞬间震撼了，为那个小女孩以及那颗金子般温暖的心。人们无不为之落泪，不久，一个房地产商把近百亩的土地送给了那所学校，只收下了57美分。木材商、砖石商更是倾其全力捐力捐物，能工巧匠义务出工……
女孩绽开了她的生命之花，那点点滴滴心灵花粉传给了更多的花朵，就这样，闻名世界的费城大学诞生了!这所面对穷人开放的高等学府成全了小女孩的夙愿!直至今日，费城大学主楼的展览大厅，还挂着那个孤苦伶仃的小女孩的画像。
生活之中，我们身边，随时有着一朵朵悄然绽放的花朵，美丽纯洁。假如心中有花，就算你是乞讨度日也胜过许多衣食无忧的人们。

我的生活之路同样是鲜花朵朵，但是那朵最艳，令我难忘又带给我深刻的却是那几朵顽强之花。
在我寒假时，我们一家去青岛游玩，来到那里一座著名的桥。桥立于海上，桥末有一座塔，是我们的目的地。桥两旁的海蓝得发亮，不时有海鸥掠过。浪花朵朵，拍在我心上，心中的烦恼忧愁被慢慢拍走。
走至桥中段，忽然看见一个老人正坐在地上写字。他的左手只剩两指，右手已无指，两只手并住一支笔，笔走龙蛇，令我叹为观止。我细细地端详着他：面目沧桑，脸上布满皱纹，满头银丝被阵阵海风吹得有些乱了。但是从他的双眼之中，我却看到了乐观、顽强的花朵开满他的心灵。我被深深震撼了
，那顽强坚毅的种子已悄悄播种在我的生活之路上。我走过去，掏出我的零花钱，买下一幅字，上面写着：锲而不舍，金石可镂。我想这八个字写出了他的心声，也为我的顽强之花施下了最好的肥料。
我往前走的步伐更加沉稳了。登上塔顶，我再次远眺海景，看到那些顽强之花已经抽出了嫩芽，即将为我的生活添彩。
