舅妈快到不惑之年了，做事却依旧稳重大气。大伙儿都夸她能干。记得有一次，我和妈妈一起到姥姥家来过暑假，自然免不了带大包小包的东西，一下车，刺目的阳光照射下来，令我挪不了身。正当我叹息倒霉的时候，却在看到舅妈那一刻整个人怔住。她从河沟桥那边绕道而来，热汗直流，连那件薄薄的衬衫都已经湿透了。她二话不多说，一手抓起妈妈的行李箱，另一只手提起两大包衣物，招呼我们：“快走吧，等会热起来了更受不了！”我两手空空地跟着去舅妈，看着她柔弱的身躯扛起那么多的重物，觉得很惭愧，想伸手帮她分担一些，却被舅妈毫不犹豫地制止：“小英，没事，这点东西难不着我！以前啊，你舅舅不在家，我一个人在家挑水煮饭，还得喂鸡喂猪，还要收庄稼呢！”我听妈妈说过这件事，对舅娘的佩服更深了。
到了家，舅妈热情地招待了我们，午饭时，舅妈一个人在厨房里忙碌了好久，端出来她所有的拿手好菜，红烧鲫鱼，糖醋排骨，青椒肉丝，番茄豆腐羹，茄汁牛腩……就像满汉全席一样，让我眼花缭乱，简直无法下筷子。邻里的叔叔阿姨也都说舅妈做菜方圆几里无人能及！
可是近几天，舅娘的女儿生病了，舅娘带着她上县医院来，清晨起来蹲几个小时才挂上号，在夜间急诊里背着还未满岁的女儿上下楼梯，做CT，照片子，舅娘用自己的坚强与能干做好了所有的事，让自己的女儿减轻了痛苦，她却自己累倒了。当我们知道这件事已经是几天后了。舅妈已经回乡了。
舅妈就是这样一个坚强能***人，我真敬佩她！
