海伦凯勒出生时是一位人见人爱的孩子，而且她比同年龄的孩子要来的聪明许多。但是在她一岁的时候事情有了改变。
那一天，海伦凯勒高烧不退，他的妈妈请了医生来一探究竟。终于，海伦的烧退了。他的父母欣喜若狂。几天后海伦的妈妈察觉了异样，“海伦，海伦？”试了几次后，海伦依旧对母亲呼唤不理不采。这让海伦的'家人急的像热锅上的蚂蚁，经过一番煎熬，医生的宣告是：因为这次的感冒压迫到视神经，从此海伦变成既聋且又盲又哑的人。他被推进一个无声又黑暗以及无法与人交谈的世界中。
随着海伦逐渐长大，父母也事事顺从她，海伦的脾气变的愈来愈暴躁。不久妈妈生了妹妹，因此疏忽了海伦，海伦暴跳如雷，眼看小宝宝就要被摔到地上，大伙儿连忙制止，所幸小宝宝平安无事。爸爸见状赶紧向妈妈讨论要不要送海伦去聋哑学校就读。妈妈因为爱怜所以选择请家教来教导海伦。
一开始，海伦很排斥沙利文老师。后来，他逐渐习惯沙利文老师的存在了。经过沙利文老师的开导，海伦逐渐变的开朗、活泼又勤学上进的好孩子。他学会了读书、写字，甚至可以开口说话。他也凭藉着自己的力量得到大学文凭，使他成为残障者之光”
这本书深深的给了我读后的心得：
海伦凯勒的经历让我学到要拥有一颗追求上进的心，使我把永不气馁做为心中的原则。就像谢坤山说的：“不要看见自己所没有的，只要看见自己所拥有的。”意思就是要我们不要因为一时的挫败而放弃自己。人生不如意的事十之八九，我们不可让每一次的小小失败而被打败，所以，我们要在挫折中学习更坚强的精神，如此才有机会去创造另一个美好的人生。

It didn’t surprise me because there is always news about how Chinese tourists impressed the local people by their bad behavior.
They were known as talking loud in the public, being unfriendly to the environment, tipping stingily, and the worst, marking on the historical sites. Every time I heard about these thing I felt so sorry for my country.
China is meant to be a country with an ancient civilization and courtesy people. We are nice to foreigners here and being a good host. I hope every tourist who goes abroad should understand that he/she is on behalf of our country. We have the responsibility to defend the dignity of our country. We should show the world the best of China.
随着经济水平的不断提高，很多人喜欢去国外旅游。但是有份调查显示中国是五个最差游客国家之一，还包括印度、法国、俄国和英国。这份调查并没有让我吃惊，因为一直都有新闻说中国游客的糟糕行为让当地人印象深刻。他们被认为在公众场合大声喧哗、不爱护环境、吝于付小费，更糟糕的是，还在历史古迹上留言。每次我听到这样的消息都为我的国家感到很遗憾。中国理应是个文明古国，人民热情礼貌。我们在国内对外国人都很友好，做一名好主人。我希望每个出国的'人都应该明白我们是代表着自己的国家，我们有责任维护国家的尊严。我们应该像世界展示最好的中国。

Thank you for offering me education and teaching me how to be a man. You always inspire me not by words， but by what you have done! Your efforts in the work， your loyalty to your friends， your responsibility for the family and your persistence in the life have already set me good examples in my own life.
Thank you for always appreciating my work， no matter how tiny it is! You have made me realize that its capacity not scores that really counts.
