i went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. they are beijing, dalian and huhehot. i went to beijing more than eight times. beijing is the capital of china. it’s a big city. i am very familiar with beijing. it takes an hour and forty minutes from nantong to beijing by plane. there are many tall buildings in beijing. it’s a modern city. my family visited the great wall, the summer palace, the palace museum, the beihai park, the space museum, etc.
i went to the countryside of beijing to go boating and fishing. it was very interesting. i went shopping in wangfujing. i bought lots of souvenirs and other things. i like eating beijing snacks. they are delicious. don’t miss beijing duck. it is really nice. dalian is a beautiful city. dalian is close to beijing. i spent 5o minutes on the plane. dalian is near the sea. i smelled the salt in the air. the roads are clean. there are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. there are many esplanades and japanese buildings. there are some fountains in one of the esplanades. some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. we went to see the beach and the sea. the sea is blue. there were many swimmers in the sea. i lay on the beach to see the sky. dalian is a very nice place to live in. huhehot is in inner mongol. there are lots of large grasslands. the grasslands are endless. the sky is bright blue. there were a lot of horses and sheep. they were running or eating grass. i rode a horse on the grassland.
i picked some colourful flowers. we drank tea with milk. there is a small desert, it was very hot when i walked on it. the sand could sing. these trips helped me open my eyes. i enjoyed my day.

“五一”长假里，我和爸爸、妈妈去连云港渔湾游玩。
走进渔湾大门，只见一座座山连绵起伏，到处绿树成荫，让人感到心旷神怡。
我们来到九孔桥，看见那里有九条龙分别盘在栏杆上，嘴里喷出亮晶晶的水柱，犹如一条条长蛇在空中飞舞。
走过九孔桥，有一块大岩石，如果你仔细观察，会发现在太阳的照射下，岩石前呈现出一道七色彩虹，美丽极了。这可是我第一次见到彩虹呀！
路边有人提供小猴给人合影。只见小猴头带僧帽，上面还插着两根雀翎，身穿孙悟空的衣服，衣服上绣着“齐天小圣”四个大字。小猴的眼睛滴溜溜地转来转去，看着真可爱，我还和它合了影呢！
渔湾的著名景点是二龙潭和三龙潭，清清的水从山顶顺流而下，在半山腰形成了一个碧绿的小水潭。我和爸爸、妈妈脱下鞋子，赤脚走进小水潭，那清凉凉的水冰着脚，可舒服了！
走出渔湾的大门，我依依不舍地回首望去，心里默念道：“再见了，渔湾！相信不久的将来，你一定会变得更加美丽！”

these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single, yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true. however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

今年暑假，妈妈带我到大连游玩。第二天，我们就去了向往已久的海之韵浴场，实现了看海的愿望。
刚出海之韵浴场的检票口，我就欢呼着奔向大海。蓝蓝的大海一望无际，凉爽的海风卷起一波波海浪拍打着金色的沙滩，火红的太阳就挂在大海的头顶，银灰色的海鸥展翅翱翔，远处点点白帆在大海上漂来荡去……大海真美呀！
海边真是热闹，到处欢声笑语。人们穿着多彩的泳衣，享受着阳光的沐浴，我也迫不及待地甩掉鞋袜，跳进大海。啊，海水凉丝丝的，真爽！一股海水冲进我的嘴里，感觉咸咸的。一个波浪涌来，把我轻轻推向岸滩，又把我轻轻拉回大海，简直就像在晃摇篮，真舒服！
我们在海滩上挖沙坑、堆城堡；在海水里拾海星、捡贝壳，在海浪中奔跑、追逐；在礁石里捉小螃蟹。玩累了，我们就躺在软软的沙滩上休息。望着欢乐的游人和美丽的大海，感觉眼前的一切就像是一幅灵动的画……
