山溪的理想是大海，囚鸟的理想是蓝天，树木的理想是大地。物尚且如此，何况人乎?纵观古今中外，凡成大业者，哪一个没有远大的理想!是啊!一个人没有了理想,那么他的生活就像在大漠中失掉了罗盘,迷失了方向.如果一个人没有了理想,那么就像鸟儿失掉了翅膀,永远不能飞翔.如果一个人没有了理想就像太阳失掉了光辉,永不能射出耀眼的光芒!我懂了,只有被理想充实的人们才会充满对生活的爱,才会找到果实累累的金秋,扬起生活的风帆,发挥自己的聪明才智为人类做出贡献.然而我的理想又在哪里呢?我曾伸出双手向苍天问过,也曾冥思苦想过.直到今天我才恍惚有了答案——我要做一位发明家。
一次，我家里的小电扇坏了，大人们都没有去管它。一天晚上，我用工具把小电扇打开一看，原来，是一个零件松了。于是我利用书上说的撑杆原理，用一块小海绵垫底，用一根小木棍把它顶着。就这样，电扇就被我修好了。我把这件事告诉了妈妈，她还把我夸了一顿呢!通过这件事，我联想到了爱迪生这位大发明家，觉得我也应该像爱迪生那样不怕困难、不怕吃苦、顽强拼搏、在失败中寻找。于是，我确定了我的人生目标——做一位像爱迪生那样的发明家。现在，我已经为实现我的理想而读了大量的书籍。比如：《十万个为什么》系列丛书《世界上下五千年》《海底两万里》《追踪ufo之迷》以及《中国未解之迷》和《世界未解之迷》等很多书。
为了实现我的理想，我要做到三个字：创、信、坚。“创”就是创造，我们作为21世纪的少年，不能墨守陈规，要勇于创新。所谓“信”，就是指信心，一个人如果失去了信心，那么他将一事无成。“坚”有两种含义。一种是坚持不懈，坚持就是胜利;另一种就是坚强，因为“失败是成功之母”，搞发明创造，总会有失败，我们要承受得起打击。理想，如梦一般五彩;理想，似彩蝶一样翩翩;理想，像希望的种子，播洒在我们的心田。只要我们付出努力，理想的花苞就会绽放!

Everyone has his own dream. I want to be a good doctor in the future. The reason is that some doctors saved my life after I was badly hurt in a traffic accident. I was deeply impressed by their medical skils and greatly moved by their care for me. From then on, to be a doctor in the future has always been my dream.
Our dreams can’t be realized unless we make all our efforts. Therefore, the first thing I will do is to remember what my dream is. I won’t let it leave my mind, because it will help me to keep trying and fighting for what I want. What’s more, I will do my best to increase my knowledge and improve my abilities to prepare myself for an excellent doctor. Last but not least, I will never give up. 我想当一名老师，把自己的知识教给下一代。如果我的学生打架了，我会弄清楚原因，然后，再把两个学生分开，跟他们讲道理，最后，让他们向对方道歉，成为一对好朋友。如果我的学生不团结，我会告诉他们团结力量大，然后告诉他们一根树枝可以轻易的折断，而一捆树枝就不能轻易的折断，这一根树枝好比一个人，一捆树枝就好比一群人，一群团结的人，一个人可以轻易的打败，而一群人就不同了，所以说，团结力量大。
我的梦想一定会实现，成为一名优秀的老师。

Mary wants to be a fashion designer because she likes beautiful clothes and is good at drawing. Kate wants to be a gardener, she lives plants, and she wants to make the cities better. Mike would like to be a writer. He’d like to share his wonderful stories with others. Tom would like to be a cook. He’d like to cook delicious food for others. I would like to be a policeman. I want to protect the people safe。
