在这本书里有我最欣赏的一篇文章，文章的题目叫；"老藤椅"讲的是，作者在帮妈妈清里杂物时仍掉了那把老藤椅。这把老藤椅是作者的外祖母留下的椅子，在以后的.日子里，老藤椅总是发出吱吱的声音，妈妈请来了一位老工匠来修这把老藤椅，没多久就修好了。
有一天作者趁妈妈不在家时，就把老藤椅仍掉了，妈妈知道了很生气，就跑到了垃圾站里找，就在这时看到了一位小女孩坐在老藤椅上看书，小女孩走到妈妈面前说了一翻话，作者这才知道妈妈为什么这么珍爱这把老藤椅。
