the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

I am going to do my homework every day so that I can finish my homework on time.I am going to the library to borrow some books and go to the shops to buy some books so that I can read some interesting books. 影响孩子控制智力的另一个因素是家长的反应。如果孩子一哭闹就能得到他想要的东西，孩子就会继续这样，形成恶性循环。反之，如果孩子哭闹的时候，家长直接压制，说，不许哭！这样无法消除孩子的消极情绪，还可能反弹个更厉害。
那么，父母怎样的反应能成功降低孩子的冲动呢？我的做法是首先描述孩子的感受，接纳他的情绪：“我知道这个娃娃很好玩，你很想要，对吧？”然后跟他强调规则：“但是这个星期你已经买了一个玩具了。我们说好了的，一个星期只买一个玩具，对不对呀？”最后提供给孩子一个替换方案：“家里的小熊跟这个娃娃一样，都是软软的，咱们回去抱小熊好不好？”家长可能有一个误区，就是以为，冲动是可以压制的。其实，冲动是无法完全压制的，但是通过给孩子替代方案，我们可以帮助孩子转一定要的冲动。

如今大家都在提倡鼓励性教育，那么如何对孩子赞美才能起到正面的作用呢？
《给孩子的未来脑计划》这本书建议我们做到以下三点：
1、表扬努力，而不是表扬聪明。
2、表扬过程，而不是表扬结果。
3、表扬成长，而不是表扬表现。
经过心理学家长期的研究，发现一个人秉持的观点会对以后的生活产生极大的影响。当你告诉孩子"你真棒""你真聪明"的时候，表面是在鼓励孩子，实际是在潜移默化的帮孩子塑造成固定型思维模式的人，觉得事情做得好是因为自己有天赋，做的不好则是没有天赋，所以面对困难时就选择知难而退。这样表扬孩子的方法不对，不但不能帮助孩子建立自信心，反而可能妨碍他将来的发展。
这在我们的教学中同样可以采用，我们的校长就常常鼓励我们表扬学生要具体，不能一概而论。例如：在表扬时对学生较吃力的同学经常说："老师相信你经过努力一定能行！"对有奇特想法的学生说："你很有创造力，但是还要继续努力。"对说话声音小的同学说："你的声音真好听，能再大点声吗？"对于从不发言的同学说："你今天的表现让我感到骄傲。"今天成长型的表扬方法正跟我们平时学到的具体表扬方法相吻合，所以只要这样表扬孩子才会让孩子对自己建立起自信心，提高学习、思考、积极表达的兴趣。
孩子做得好时，要用成长型的表扬方法，同样在批评孩子的错误时，也要用成长型心智模式来看孩子的.品质。
批评孩子的错误时，《给孩子的未来脑计划》这本书建议我们做到以下三点：
1、要告诉孩子错在哪里。
2、不要放大错误行为，不要给孩子贴标签。
3、要告诉他如何改正。
批评孩子的真正目的是要帮助孩子成长，而不是发泄你的情绪，所以当孩子做错时，老师跟家长一样都应该要告诉孩子错在哪里，这样孩子才能改进，才能成长。如果我们不告诉孩子错在哪里，只顾自己发泄情绪，这对孩子没有任何帮助，只会使他越来越讨厌我们的批评。批评孩子的时候一定要注意只讲他这件事错在哪儿，千万不能翻旧账，不要把他一次的错误无限放大。无理由的扩大批评的范围会造成失焦，也给不了孩子具体的指导，而且很容易激起孩子的抗拒和反感情绪。
所以，孩子犯错不是不可以批评，而是要用正确的方法批评。用成长型的批评，孩子会成长；固定型的批评，既不告诉孩子为什么错，也不告诉孩子该怎么办，那不是批评，而是发泄情绪。这样批评出来的孩子，长大后容易没有个性，缺乏自尊和自信。我们老师和家长在这方面也应该注意批评的方式，让孩子明确改正错误的方向，这样对孩子的终身成长才会有益。

It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have two months to do things we love to do.We are free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And the rest time we can make good use of.My god! We have been very tired after hard studying.In summer holidays,I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least,I will have a good rest.
