那天下午放学后，我在操场西侧玩单杠和双杠。无意中一抬头，发现一个低年级的小弟弟在掐围墙边儿的冬青叶，他左手里已经抓了好几片，可还是不满足，又伸出右手去摘。
我看不下去了，急忙走上前去阻止他：“小弟弟，你怎么能随便破坏环境呢？我们应该爱护花草树木呀！”谁知他根本听不进去，反问道：“这冬青树又不是你家种的，管那么多干嘛？”我很生 气。但没有发火。耐着性子给他讲道理：“小弟弟，话可不能这么说，学校就是咱们的家，我们每个人都是小主人，都要像爱护自家的东西一样爱护学校的东西。”
小男孩的脸红了，也不再说话了低着头，不好意思地摆弄着手指头，我看出他已经知道自己的错误了，又安慰他说：“知道错就改正还是好孩子。”
他点了点头，跑开了。

上课铃响了，同学们赶紧跑回自己的座位上，端端正正地坐好，谁都不讲话。
刚才还是鸦雀无声，现在却像小鸟一样叽叽喳喳，闹个不停。大家谈笑风声，说得高兴极，好象教室是他们的自由地。突然，一个同学怪叫了一声，惹得大家哈哈大笑，教室里顿时沸腾起来。有的同学大声唱起了流行歌曲，大家纷纷学着他有腔没调的声音唱起来。为了安全起见，有的同学跑到教室门口，贼头贼脑地往外探。“不好了，老师来了！”那个同学慌慌张张地跑回座上。马上，教师里有恢复了平静。
老师笑容满面地走进教室，见同学们都坐得笔直，说：“不错，很安静！”同学们心虚，互相看了看，偷偷地笑。
