时节已是深秋，树上的枫叶在唦唦作响，我牵着朋友的手欢快地离去，身后一个憔悴的身影招摇着右手，唦哑着嗓子，喊道：“别去玩太久了，九点前要回来啊!”母亲凝望着我，直到转角，我这才回头冲她喊了一声：“好!”把母亲抛在了那无尽的黑夜。
在同学家中，劲爆的摇滚乐，喧闹的谈笑声，枪林弹雨的游戏声，充斥在我的耳畔，自然也忘却了九点的钟声已经响起。
一个身影立了起来，一个同学突然惊慌失措地说到：“遭了，现在都九点四十了，我得走了。”边说着，他又抓起了一把零食，只听见一阵凌乱的脚步声渐渐地消失在楼道中。
忽然间，我像醒悟似的，顾不得再说一句话，也像上一位一样，冲下楼道，飞奔在回家的路上。
一路上，秋风似利刀般的'划过，我的脸庞已冻的发紫，边跑边向手心中呼着一口口热气，一片片枫叶落在我的头上，我不经意地抬头，树上已快落秃了，空中却飞舞着一只只‘枫蝶’感叹一声，又跑了起来。
快到了，快到了，可应该怎么向父母交代呢?是我失约了。
离小区大门相距一百来米，我累得跑步动了。只得缓慢地走着，任凭秋风吹打。
走了几步，门口站了一个人，左右观望着，好似在等什么。弯曲的身影好像在那矗立了很久。
再向前走了几步，昏黄的路路灯，隐约可以看见肩上披着的长发，凌乱的发丝在风中飞舞、摇曳，一件单薄的褐色外套下笼罩着那瘦弱而有些驼了的背。黑色的长裤，两只脚在原地不断地来回走动，或许是太冷了，也或许像我母亲那样担心我而焦急的等待吧
走进了，昏黄的灯下出现了我的影子，一阵秋风扫过，她的乌黑长发被吹的前额和两颊，她发现了我，缩着双手，转过身来，暗淡的眼神充满喜悦。母亲，我的母亲啊!
泪顿时涌入眼眶，晶莹的泪花在眼眶打转，回旋。我声音微颤，轻声说：“——妈。”把头紧紧地埋下去，她伸出袖口中的右手，摸了摸我的脸颊，“呀，小脸给冻僵啦!来，披件衣服。”她将身上的那件褐色外套披在我的身上，她那单薄的身躯有少了件保护，好似随时会被这秋风吹倒，我抬起头，凝望着母亲：脸瘦了，通红通红的，不知在这在了多久，手糙了，冰冷的没有温度，人老了，饱经沧桑的身子也单薄了。
我感到愧怍：若我没有去同学家玩，母亲怎么会在此忧愁;若我按时守信到家，母亲怎么会在此迎风苦等。妈妈牵着我的小手。在她的身后，在她那消瘦的身影上，我又看见几根闪亮的银丝，灰白，坚韧。这是因我的不守信而生?几片枫叶悠悠的落下，投入到地母的怀抱。
自此，我再也没有失约过。
