也许有人觉得这些事情离我们很遥远，但我们身边也确确实实有过这样残酷的实例。据省教育厅去年的统计，溺水已成为广大中小学生尤其是农村小学生非正常死亡的主要原因。2010年永嘉县学生非正常死亡20人，其中溺水死亡的就达13人。
正因为有了这些惨痛的例子，我倡议全体同学做到“五不”承诺：1、不私自下水游泳;2、不擅自与同学结伴游泳;3、不在无家长或老师带领的情况下游泳;4、不到无安全设施、无救护人员的水域游泳;5、不到不熟悉的水域游泳。而在游泳之前，学习一些预防溺水的知识是不可或缺的。
人不能像野草那样，“春风吹又生”，人的生命只有一次，而且生命要靠自己掌握。身边处处有安全，我们平时就要做到“安全学习，安全生活”，杜绝危险的行为，让瓯北中心小学变成一个安全和谐的校园。

我心里一阵唏嘘，就只是这些一误之差，一步失足，而坠入无底深渊，坠入流沙，愈陷愈深，最终只得被***埋没，这或许就改变了你的人生轨迹。“上瘾”就像一颗不定时炸弹，在人的意料之外随时爆炸，使人在迷茫和担心之中，更加依赖它来麻木自己，最终落得“家破人亡”。
在生活中，危险无处不在，我们不能保证我们时刻安全，但我相信，只要我们警惕性够高，遇到危险，智勇相对，就不会让坏人得逞。抵制毒品，做到以下几点：1、不去不正规的KTV，因为可能有人在饮品“加点料”；2、不随意接受他人的食品或饮品；3、不听信他人的谗言，如：打着“减肥”或“刺激”的旗号诱惑、以高价诱惑替他偷运毒品，千万要谨慎，不能糊里糊涂地接受……而未成年人在网吧玩到昏天暗地，近年来，因此而猝死事件比例上升，我们要坚决抵制黑网吧的存在，应在家人的陪伴下在家营造一个绿色的上网环境。我们不应一好奇的心态进网吧，这么一个不小心，可能会成网吧的'“常客”。不能让祖国的花朵陷入“黑色漩涡”中。

第三段：摆明自己观点。In my opinion, … … is not a good thing. … … With the increasing … …, it will ruin … ….
其次，提纯范文“段落写作”。
段落写作分为统一性，连贯性和完整性三方面。
统一性(unity：段落开头的主题句应该做到不可太宽泛，也不可太具体，做到有较强的概括性才能使下文做到有的放矢的展开。范文第二段首句以设问的方式提出一个问题is it a good or bad thing就有很强的概况性。下文自然会一方面从好的方面说明，另一方面从坏的方面说明。
连贯性(coherence：关联词是使文章段落之间相互连贯的必要条件。范文中nowadays, on one hand, on the other hand, in one’s opinion即以“启承转合”递进的顺序是文章条理清晰，层层展开。
完整性(completeness：以设问句“So far as the present situation is concerned, is it a good or bad thing to open the university campus for tourists?”开头，这是平时较少运用的段落写作方式——设问法。“On one hand … …. On the other hand, … ….”是段落写作分类列举法的典型用法。
再次，提纯范文“句子写作”。

类似句型：It is known to us that … …

It is reported that … …
It is controversial that … …
2. “… … Tsing Hua University and Peking University and other famous universities … …。”——并列句。并列句是简单的复杂句。但其运用方法并不简单，注意练习并接句的使用，会使句子显的更加饱满。
3. enable v. 使…能够

4. in that = because
表“因为”的连词还有since, for, as，如：
The boy was absent because he was ill. = The boy was absent since he was ill.
此句以我们常用的人称开头，句式简单，我们可以通过把since提前改变句式，如：
Since the boy was ill, he was absent. 句式多样化。
