As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

在这几个星期，我读了很多本《笑猫日记》最让我难忘的是那别感人肺腑的《那个黑色的下午》。
故事是这样的：樱桃沟发生的大地震把笑猫和它的妻儿分散了，于是，笑猫和老老鼠开始了寻找虎皮猫和它的孩子的路程。在途中，它们遇到了许多感人的故事。比如：在救援人员救人时，发现了一位母亲，但她已经死了，就在他们准备走时，救援队队长发现了底下好像也有一个人。当他们把那位母亲的身体翻过来时，发现低下有一个孩子那位母亲的手机里还有一个短信：亲爱的孩子，如果你能活着，请一定要记住，我爱你。还有一只给也做了一件非常感人的故事：在一次搜救中，搜救犬公爵为了保护主人，不幸被钢筋插破肚皮，公爵的主人不忍心看到公爵这么痛苦，结果忍痛把公爵一枪打死了。还有一个人的未婚妻死了，却一点也不伤心。她给自己的未婚妻穿上了婚纱，跳起了华尔兹，完成了一个盛大的婚礼……最后，笑猫终于找到了虎皮猫和它的孩子们。
读完这本书，我知道了爱是无私的，人间处处有真情，人间处处有真爱。
五年级下午英语作文【三】
《那个黑色的下午》是杨红樱写的笑猫日记中的一本。《那个黑色的下午》主要讲了笑猫在樱桃沟遇上了一场大地震，把自己和家人震散了，还将大山、庭院、学校……震塌了，笑猫和老老鼠踏上了艰难的寻找之路，为了让孩子生存下去，把孩子护在自己的身躯下的母亲、舍己为人的老师、搜救犬的葬礼……为我们讲了一个又一个的故事。
这本书不但讲了许多故事，还给了我许多的少有的品质，比如，笑猫寻找家人的坚持。有的人虽然也会坚持，但大多数人见到困难就退缩了，为什么我们就不能坚持到成功，而笑猫却能，因为他会坚持，他有毅力。只要我们有毅力我们也能坚持到成功。
《那个黑色的下午》还告诉了我母爱是伟大的。为了让孩子生存下去，把孩子护在自己的身躯下的母亲就是一个例子，在自己死亡前给自己的孩子留下了这样的一条短信：‘亲爱的孩子，如果你能活着，就一定要记住，我爱你。'我们身边也有许多的事例，比如，一位母亲看见自己的孩子就要从阳台上掉下来，从100米处飞奔而来，接住自己的孩子。速度超越了刘翔。

这本书让我体会到了很多。
五年级下午英语作文【四】
今天，我读了一本书，名叫《那个黑色的下午》，讲的是：下午2时28分，一场震惊世界的大地震，在汶川发生了，搜救队员们出动了。一只会笑的猫——笑猫(本书主人公逃了出来，它的一个勇敢的孩子三宝和一个名叫公爵的搜救犬去救人，它们从废墟里救出37名幸存者。可是公爵不幸因公殉职。还有一名搜救犬名叫黑骑士，为了救人自己受伤了，它不想让别人为它伤心，就去流浪了。
这些搜救队员和搜救犬为救他人，而不顾自己，最让我感动!
我最喜欢公爵，因为它从废墟中救出那么多人，对搜救犬来说实在不容易!可它做到了。公爵，安息吧!被你救出的人们，永远会记住你的。
让我搞不懂的是公爵的教练，他爱公爵胜过自己的生命，就算饿死也不得罪公爵，那为什么还要打死自己的爱犬呢?最后，我才明白，他是为了自己的爱犬早点解除痛苦才开抢的，真是有情有义。
