长城的作文英语五年级【一】
长城，一个中国人都知道的名字，一个扎根在中国人民心中的名字，一个刻在灵魂深处的名字。
长城，始建于春秋战国时期，历时20xx多年，总长度5千万米以上。它像一条矫健的巨龙，越群山，经绝壁，穿草原，跨沙漠，起伏在崇山峻岭之巅。古今中外，凡到过长城的人无不惊叹它的磅礴的气势。据说，长城是在太空中唯一可以看到的人类文明的产物。根据历史文献记载，曾有20多个诸侯王国和封建王朝修筑过长城。我想，若要把各个时代修筑的长城加起来，那可是个天文数字啊！
长城，现在我国新疆、甘肃、宁夏、陕西、山西、内蒙古、河北、北京、天津、辽宁、吉林、黑龙江、河南、山东、湖南、湖北等省、市、自治区都有发现有古长城、烽火台的遗迹，仅明代长城从渤海湾头的山海关，起经华北的燕山、太行山和云中山，越过西北的黄土高原和贺兰山，到新疆和甘肃的嘉峪关，也有一万多里。长城铁一般的身躯，矗立在花岗岩般的宝座之上，伟踞东方，岿然不动。
万立丰在诗中写到：“不上长城非好汉，岂辞坡陡梯坏。山河表里灿斑斑。千秋遗胜迹，万国发惊叹。大隧车穿南贯北，翩跹风舞龙蟠，建成高速坦途宽。秋高气爽，四野有奇观。”
长城，修筑的历史悠久，工程胸围浩大，是世界七大奇迹之一。它是一座稀世珍宝，是艺术非凡的文物古迹。它象征着中华民族坚不可摧永存于世的意志和力量，是中华民族的骄傲，也是整个人类的骄傲。
长城，在历史的长河中，不经意间阅历了无数悲欢离合，威武雄壮的场面——孟姜女哭倒长城；王昭君出塞；苏武牧羊；汉高祖白登之围；成吉思汗征服亚欧大陆……
长城，承载着太多的情感，如今如同冰川般慢慢消残，若断了线的珍珠项链，散播在中华大地上。如果，继续将爱与恨倾泻在它身上，让金钱的***冲击在它身上，或许，长城会如亚斯兰蒂般只留存于传说中，只扎根在后人朦胧的心中。

生活在都市中的你，可曾注意过傍晚西边的一抹夕阳？那余晖，照亮了半边天，照亮了喧嚣的城市，也照亮了巍巍长城。入秋，我随表妹一行人来到慕田峪长城脚下，准备“勇攀长城做好汉”？登上长城，放眼望去，夏意残存，秋味渐浓，虽没有“万山红遍，层林尽染”的感觉，但也已有一种霜草萋萋、秋虫切切的景象。抬头向西边望去，一轮红日正徐徐落下，圆圆的，红彤彤的。在它的背后，天呈现出七种颜色，向远方延伸，在天与林的尽头交融，消失。顺着长城往北走，万绿丛巾隐隐约约有着“二月花”，在夕阳的映照下显得格外鲜红、格外醒目，好像周围的绿树只为等待它的降临而牛。一丝微风拂过脸颊，送来秋的气息。万物开始泛黄泛红，准备迎接那银装素裹的考验，待到冰雪融化后，一株株新鲜的生命义将萌发出来，冉为大地披上新装。走上烽火台，向远处眺望，看到几处农田里还有人在辛勤地忙碌。收获的喜悦向四周洋溢着，
飘荡在夕阳的余晖里。义停留了许久，见天色又暗了一些，我们开始下山了。在下山的路上，看到一棵棵松树挺拔地矗立在那里，年复一年地仰望着长城，仰望着长城落日。偶然抬头，忽见树顶上，一只肥硕的松树拖着它那蓬松的大尾巴在树枝间来回地跳跃，似乎在忙着准备它过冬的食物，为再见到那生机勃勃的春天储蓄着生的力量。树干上，一只小虫正在作蛹，它也在为变成美丽的蝴蝶，为了去点缀那经冬之后的.绚丽春天而努力着。行进到半山腰时，我回头凝望那夕阳映照下与天色相辉映的长城，是那么的巍峨壮丽。我忍不住举起手中的相机，“咔嚓”一声将这如诗如画的长城与落日留在了我的'相机内，留存了我的脑海里。长城的落日是美丽的，长城的落日也是悲壮的。

As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.
