the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

国庆，爸爸和妈妈带我去了美丽的古北水镇。
古北水镇位于北京市密云县古北口镇，离沙城很远，我们坐了四五个小时的汽车才到达。我都有些晕车了，还好一路美丽的风光，使我放松了许多。
沿途，天高云淡，树木茂盛，枝干笔直，树叶繁茂，景色真是怡人!野花野草遍地是，五颜六色的花鲜艳无比，真好看，我好想下车摘几朵回来!
古北水镇，美原来就在这里呢!
这里的房子都是仿古建筑，像古代房子一样，走在其间，我好像跟电视剧里的古装戏里的人物一样，有一种穿越的感觉。
这里的水清澈见底，一条条鱼儿，欢快的游来游去，我想自己要是像鱼那么自由自在多好啊!我捡起一颗石子，向湖里扔去，一圈圈波纹荡漾开去，好开心啊!
夜晚的古北水镇，更是绚丽多彩。房子就像在水上漂浮着，那些霓虹灯，照着湖水，照着整个古北水镇，就像是一幅山水画!真美!在夜晚，我更加起劲地玩了起来……在小桥上奔跑着，一会儿看看这儿，一会儿看看那儿，欣赏着这美丽的夜晚景色。我忽然地发现有个池子，里面有许多人在泡脚，我也跑了过去，迅速地脱掉凉鞋，把脚伸了进去，好温暖、好舒服啊!
这次旅行我真快乐!我爱古北水镇!
