我们作为炎黄子孙，应该为我们拥有如此灿烂的文化而感到自豪。但是，对这些“自家”的“宝贝”，我们却是一知半解、知之甚少。看到博物馆的那些文物，往往也是看个热闹、看个新鲜，看个样子，走马观花，对这些文物的来历、背景、传承、故事却是不求甚解。
而更多的却是对这些文物毫无兴趣的同胞，不能当饭吃，不能当钱花，看上去也不好看，有什么好看的。
《国家宝藏》节目把这些与普通人的生活很遥远的“文物”摆在了我们面前，给普通人一个机会，让专家、学者来给我们解读文物，讲述文物故事，使枯燥的历史一下子鲜活了起来。庸俗一点说，也把那些热衷于追逐“热点”的“庸人”拉到了这些“宝藏”面前，让人在满足“虚荣心”的同时也传播了中华文化。
看了一集半，听着“文物”故事，感受古人思想。两千多年前的文化通过“文物”这个载体传到现在，两千年，对于宇宙来说可能是转瞬之间，对人类来说，却足以显示人类的渺小。而一件东西，却能跨越了2000年的历史长河，经历战乱、经历朝代的更迭，一步步走到了今天。这是多么神奇的事情。
