人类既然是生命中的一分子，就没有什么可特殊的。在所有的生命面前，万物都是平等的，所以，我们应当既尊重自己的生命，也要尊重世界上所有的生命，这样，也就是尊重了我们自己的生命。
自然的法则决定了生活在地球上的一切生命必须和谐相处，共同缔造美丽的家园，否则，就会受到自然法则的.惩罚。这种自然法则最先受到最强大的恐龙的破坏，后来，最先灭绝的，恰恰就是高大威猛、弱肉强食的恐龙。
人类的历史并不是很长，人类诞生不久，就以捕猎为生，于是，那些奔跑着的动物就成为人类捕猎的对象，成为人类的美味大餐。现在，天上飞的，地上跑的，水里游的，没有人类不敢吃的，而且什么珍稀吃什么，这使得珍稀动物越来越稀少，有的已经接近灭绝。君不见，洁白的天鹅垂下了带血的翅膀，在集市上被公开出售;君不见，藏羚羊被偷猎者追捕，茫茫的青藏高原上，堆着它们的累累白骨;君不见，东北虎的数量大大减少，打死金钱豹的人竟然还被当做孤胆英雄，赫然出现在中学语文课本上。近来，又出现了清华才子用硫酸泼狗熊，四川一大学生将一只小狗放在微波炉里烘烤等旷世奇闻。长此以往，等世界上只剩下人类的时候，我们还与谁为伴，我们还拿什么作为生命的依托?到那时，人类灭绝的日子也就不远了。人类的历史恐怕比恐龙的历史还短暂，这绝不是危言耸听。
维持自然界的平衡，我们必须遵循自然的法则。生命的个体之间要相互尊重，
和谐相处，因为生命与生命之间是相互依存的，谁都离不开谁，就如同我们离不开水、阳光和空气一样。我们有什么理由，为了维护自己的生命或者尊严，去剥夺其他生命生存的权利呢?
尊重生命吧，尊重它们，就是尊重我们自己。

Beloved father:
It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.

有一年，一家国外的知名大企业正在招收员工，招聘的职业是中国的首席代表。在千千万万人群中和他们激烈得竞争中，有五位学生脱颖而出，带却只能选着一位。他们中有两位博士，两位研究生和一位本科生。当他们以为是本科生即将淘汰时，结果却令人目瞪口呆，被选上的尽然是本科生。考官的理由很简单，五位提交资料时，只有本科生是用双手交给考官的。最后考官说了一句：“尊重他人是最基本的要求。”
前几年年，澳大利亚的悉尼举行了一次国际合唱比赛，中国的一支童声合唱团与来自全世界各地的一百多支合唱团同场竞技。当孩子们怀着激动的心情进入会场时，却发现整个会场上悬挂着的各个参赛过的国旗中，唯独没有中国国旗。孩子们的表情一下子严峻了起来，因为他们意识到：自己的国家没有得到尊重，比自己没有得到尊重更加事关重大。
于是，当轮到孩子们上场时，他们像往常一样排好队形，但有一个孩子却走了出来，用流利的英语向台下说：“我们来到这里，非常想把自己的歌声奉献给来自世界各地的朋友们，展示我们中国孩子的风采。但是，我们发现，这里没有悬挂我们中国的国旗，我们感到，这关系到我们祖国的尊严。所以我们拒绝演出!”
台下先是响起一阵议论，然后是一片热烈的掌声。人们都为中国孩子能维护祖国的尊严而舍弃个人利益喝彩。大赛的组织者慌忙跑来，向孩子们道歉，说这纯属工作失误。于是，孩子们在注视五星红旗冉冉升起后，放开了他们优美动人的歌喉……
学会尊重他人，认真对待每个人每件事。这像一束阳光，给予他人带来温暖。

当我们降落到这个世界间，就意味着又有一个全新的生命诞生了。亲朋好友都赶来为这个新的生命而庆贺。生命是神圣的，值得我们去敬重。
我曾经在一本书上看到过这样一篇感人的文章，令我感触颇深。其中写了一名劫犯在抢劫银行时，警方随即赶到。慌乱中，劫犯劫持了一名妇女来做人质，双方僵持了很久。突然那位妇女发出了痛苦的声音，劫犯这才发现自己劫持的人质竟然是一名孕妇，因为过度惊吓而即将面临早产，劫犯思考片刻后，举起手来投降的人群中居然响起了一片掌声。当警察将拷走劫犯，同时将孕妇送往医院时，孕妇已即将分娩，情况极其危险。这时劫犯大声说：“我是医生，让我来吧”为了保证母子这两条生命，他竟打开了劫犯手上的.铐子。此时这一个敬重生命的医生，不顾一切地投入到抢救工作当中……当一阵阵啼哭声划过耳边，划过了城市上空时，围观的群众再次响起了热烈的掌声。
当时，我面临这道艰难的选择题时，依然为后者而感动。这无疑是一场良心与罪恶的角逐：一边是漫长的牢狱生活，而另一边却是一个即将诞生的小生命。如果我是那个劫犯，我会对那牢狱望而却步，因为在那儿，暗淡无光，但另一方面，活泼可爱，或许自己在亲人欢呼与贺喜中诞生时候的情景闪烁在我的脑海之中，或许我不得不被这个生命而征服。因为生命是崭新、希望、美好的象征。它唤起了人们对幸福的渴求，让最黑暗的心灵被阳光照亮。
生命，古往今来一直为人们所赞颂。生命，这是一个通向人内心最深处的代名词，它使人敬重一生!
