the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

在我很小的时候，我便接触到了书，从此，我跟他交上了朋友。那时候的我，小脑瓜里还是空荡荡的，自从接触到了书，里面立刻就充盈起来。什么唐诗宋词、神话小说、诗歌散文，都给我留下了极好的印象。
在我生气的时候，只要拿起一本书，不一会儿，便消了气。不再计较什么，更不在乎什么，因为我此时，全部精力都头入到书里，甚至能连坐几个小时，纹丝不动。
在我闲暇无聊的时候，书给了我极大的快乐。读一本好书，陶冶一下情操，欣赏古人的性格，弥补自己的不足;读一本好书，改变原来的思维方式，不能有勇无谋。遇到困难，可以换一个角度，要知道，上帝关上一道门时，总会开启另一扇窗户;读一本好书，明辨世间是非善恶，接受新事物的同时，不要忘记擦亮眼睛。

首先我要去新华书店买书，我已经是那里的常客了。什么类型的书我都爱看，只要有趣味的书我就会废寝忘食。这个周末我决定去买高尔基自传体三部曲之一的《童年》，另外两本《在人间》和《我的大学》，等我看完之后再逐一将它们收归我的囊中，嘻嘻！
如果不去买书的话我就去市民广场溜旱冰。那地方宽阔平整，绿树成荫，空气清新，我可以在那样优美的环境里尽情的溜，而且那里教溜冰的'老师已经认识我这个热爱溜旱冰的小朋友了，他们经常会给我一些好的建议，对我学习花样溜冰很有帮助。我已经开始想像，我穿上溜冰鞋，戴上头盔、护膝、护肘、手套、臀垫、护腕，哗真是全身披甲上阵，先是来个单足蹬冰，双足向前滑行，完了再来个单足向前滑行，然后是双足向前弧线滑行、前交叉步滑行、向后双足滑行……哦！我已是迫不及待了，真想马上就开始我的“冰上之旅”啊！
再或者我去我朋友家玩，我们一起玩孔明锁。孔明锁，也叫八卦锁，相传由三国时期的孔明发明而得名。这种三维的拼插玩具，外观看是严丝合缝的十字立方体，动动脑筋可拆解，但想装上可不是那么容易的。可因为它有一定的难度，所以我们才喜欢玩。哦！孔明锁，此刻开始我想念你了！
