一会儿，妈妈突然从背后拿出一个香包，说要送给我，我看它形状可爱的香包，真是爱不释手。此时，电视里正在直播精彩的龙舟比赛，加油声，锣鼓声是那么的震耳欲聋。电视里和我的家中都热闹无比。
品尝粽子的时候，爸爸给我讲了端午节的由来：在战国时代，楚国有一位爱国诗人——屈原，他学问渊博，受到楚王的重用。可是，有些奸臣嫉妒他的才干，故意在楚王面前说他的坏话。楚王死后，屈原流放到长江以南，他眼见国家日益衰败，更希望全国人民能够振作起来，就抱石跑江自尽，以死相谏。那天正是农历的五月初五。
听完故事后，我感慨万分。难怪，屈原如此受到后人的敬爱。今年的端午节，我不但品尝了好吃的粽子，得到了漂亮的香包，最高兴的是了解了爱国诗人屈原，学到了包粽子的本事，这真是一个意义非凡。
