时光即逝，眼间我该上初三了。回想那些点点滴滴，初二生活的确给我许许多多的欢乐和感悟，现在的的我变得更加成熟了。
还记得那堂语文课，我们学习《孔乙己》的'时候，我被意外地挑起来回答问题，老师问我：“作为新时代的学生，你想对孔乙己说些什么？”我听到我的名字时，我彻底的懵了，不敢看老师的眼睛，一直低着头，慌忙地翻课本，即使我知道课本里没答案。我在慌乱中看到老师失望的眼神，心中不免有些慌恐。脑子一直回想这答案，但又纠结对不对。当老师对我特别失望，要挑别人回答时，我勇敢地抬起头看着老师（其实心里还是感到害怕），我围绕孔乙己的性格特征，支支吾吾的回答着：“我……我会对他说：你不能再这么迂腐下去了……”说完后，老师便让我坐了下来。正准备坐下的我因为碍于回答结结巴巴的，害怕失了面子就看看了教室里的同学，他们没有用异样的眼光看着我，我便悻悻地坐下了。之后，我在课堂上踊跃发言，在课下也经常找老师问问题，我觉得我变得更加开朗，外向了。不会再碍于面子而胆怯了，因为我懂得了：“敢于尝试新事物，敢于丢脸，勇于挑战。年轻时多犯几次错误是有好处。’”
还有那件事，也让我刻骨铭心。老师星期天布置了一篇写状物的日记。我便认真地完成这个任务。到了星期四，日记发了下来我的日记得了优，我之后看了看我周围同学的日记，他们都得良，我不禁沾沾自喜起来。到了作文课，老师说：“上个星期写日记得优的同学，已经写得很不错了，稍微改一下，把它净到作文本上。”听完之后心中狂喜，便拿起笔抄了起来。我写快有有一半了，便看看我的同桌写的怎么样了，谁知她一个字都还没写，正在日记上认真修改呢，我不屑地看了她一眼。心里想着：装什么装啊，再怎么改，写的依旧很烂。每次老师批改完我们作文都要评写的好的，我还以为我会受表杨呢，可是老师偏偏表扬我的同桌。我看了一遍她的作文，作文里优美的句子深深地打动了我。同时，我心中也感到愧疚。那次我真的体会到“不进而退“的感觉了。
初二的生活使我从懵懂变得成熟，使我从自卑变得自信。初二生活的精彩至今历历在目，以后的道路会更加宽广，非常感谢老师们还有我的朋友们，谢谢你们陪我一起成长。

My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like.
