Beloved father:
It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.

要是说起让我尊敬的一个人，要数那位和蔼可亲的清洁工爷爷。起初，我认为他没什么特别，可是，通过这件事，清洁工爷爷在我心中的形象慢慢变了······
有一天放学回来的路上，可能是前天晚上着凉了，早上一直不舒服，胃里翻江倒海，我拼命忍，怎么忍也没忍住，还没走到家就吐在了小区的马路上，差点连肠子都要吐出来。正当我难受的时候，一个穿着清洁工服装的人，推着一辆臭味扑鼻的垃圾车走过来，他弯下腰看看我，关切的问：“小朋友，你怎么了，哪儿不舒服呀?爷爷来给你帮忙。”这时，一股难闻的味道迎面扑来，更难受了。“没事，不用你管。”我赶紧捂着鼻子，斜着眼睛地瞪了他一眼，心中暗想：哼，脏死啦、臭死啦，赶紧离我远点儿。爷爷可能意识到了什么，没有再上前，只是站在远处担心地看着我。
我吐完以后，人也舒服多了，就慢慢往家走。快到家门口的时候，我下意识的用眼睛的余光扫了一下刚呕吐的地方，只见清洁工爷爷正拿着扫把慢慢地打扫我刚吐出的脏东西。不一会，地面又洁净了，丝毫看不出有人吐过的痕迹。我见了很感动，并对他产生了强烈的好奇心，从那以后我就悄悄地关注他。
半年多时间过去了，无论刮风下雨，他都会准时出现在小区里清理运送垃圾。他除了做好份内事，还不厌其烦地向人们宣传要保护环境，对被毁坏的草地及时采取补救措施。为了美化小区环境，他还经常发动小朋友一起种花种树。当有人遇到困难的时候，他总会不计报酬，热情帮助。我被爷爷这种默默无闻、无私奉献的精神所感动。他是一个社会责任感强的人，他是一个爱岗敬业的人，他是一个乐善好施的人。他是一个多么令我尊敬的人啊!

夏日的骄阳炙烤着大地，没有一丝风，只有知了在树上没完没了地唱着：“知了、知了……”
楼下地下室新搬来的老爷爷骑着辆三轮车回来了，车上面装满了各种回收来的废品，猛烈的大阳把他的皮肤晒得黝黑，汗水打湿了他花白的头发，顺着脸颊滴下。尊重老人的作文|尊敬老人作文
前面好像出了什么事，我跑上前一看，原来是一个人晕倒了，可能是中暑了吧。从衣着上像是外地打工的。几个人围着指指点点，却没有一个人上前帮忙。这时，老爷爷挤开人群，蹲下身子瞧了瞧，皱着眉头朝四周望了望，“谁有车子？搭一程，速度快的！”
见没人搭理，他毫不犹豫地推来自己的三轮车，把货卸了下来，把那个人抱上车往医院的方向骑去。望着他的背影，心想：他还真是热心肠啊！
后来，我经常在街上看到这位老爷爷。有时，偶尔遇见了，就把喝完的矿泉水瓶子给他，有时候，遇到斜坡，我也会忍不住上去推一把。我知道老爷爷一个人住在地下室里，一天赚不到几个钱，只能艰难地生活着，但是他却毫不吝啬，遇到有困难的人，就会伸出援助之手。
星期天，我学习完回家，没想到好好的天，说变就变，下起了倾盆大雨，甚至还出现了几道闪电。我赶紧跑到一个屋檐下避雨。当我正焦急地等待时，看到老爷爷从远处骑过来，他也看见了我，一会儿，他把车骑到我身旁。
“上来吧！”老爷爷朝我招招手。
“你搭别人吧，今天……我……我不坐车。”我摸摸口袋，身无分文，怎么好意思上他的车呢？况且，雨天可是三轮车夫们赚钱的节日呀！
“我顺路回家。走吧——”说着，老爷爷已经把车头调转方向，还随手拿起抹布把湿漉漉的车座擦了一遍。
坐上车的`那一刻，我见着老爷爷的衣裳紧贴着背脊，被雨水浸透了，也许更多的是汗水。
一路上，我望着飞珠滚落的雨帘，听着淅淅沥沥的雨声，我默默地，不知为何一句话也没有说。
“到了。快上楼吧！”还是一句极其朴素的话语。
望着老爷爷的三轮车渐渐消失在雨中，老爷爷的背影也渐渐模糊，我反而觉得他的形象更加清晰高大起来，一阵风吹来，我不禁打了个寒颤，但心里却还是暖暖的。
