杭州之为“天堂”，就因为美丽的西湖。城依湖建，湖在城中。如今的西湖，仍保留着三面山一面城的格局。近年来，杭州市花了很大的气力引钱塘江入湖，沿湖景区向四周拓展，除了苏堤、白堤，又开发了杨公堤度假休闲区。站在城的一面，满眼湖光山色，清波粼粼，如入画境。

离开马会俱乐部，我们走进了一片鸡爪槭林，火红的鸡爪槭，展示出了春天的绚烂，鸡爪槭独特的形状像一只只小小的“爪子”，很俏皮。上面的“小血管”纵横交错，让人眼花缭乱。我把它轻轻的握在手里一捏，她就碎了，有时候我会捡到一片嫩嫩的、绿绿的鸡爪槭，捏也捏不碎，远远望去，鸡爪槭如同晚霞般灿烂。一阵风拂过，全部的鸡爪槭像一朵朵蝴蝶在空中翩翩起舞。阳光下，那一片红叶红得那么耀眼，层层叠叠，密密麻麻，好似一团团正在燃烧的火焰，在风中向我们招手。
