我不喜欢医生，因为他有过出轨，在我的意识里，出轨，哪怕只一次，也是不可原谅的。
我也不喜欢弗洛伦蒂诺，因为他的爱近乎病态，一边标榜为她保留童真51年，一边用本子记录了622个与他有较长“恋情”的各种女人，我不懂爱情，却也觉得这不是爱。与其说他爱她，不如说他爱那种以为自己爱她的感觉，人是有受虐倾向的。
我最不喜欢的是费尔米娜，她既不爱自己的丈夫也不爱弗洛伦蒂诺，她只是在各个时段需要符合当时期待的男人而已。
虽然书中主角没有一个具有人格魅力，甚至可以说都挺糟糕的，但是这恰恰是真实的人。标榜忠贞却控制不住自己身体的男人们，在追求者们选择最适当的去结婚而不算真爱的女人们，在漫长婚姻中彼此忍受的夫妻们……
在我看来，这本书写到极致的并不是爱情，而是衰老和死亡“衰老往往是从一次摔倒开始的”，还有婚姻的真相“夫妻生活的的关键在于学会控制厌恶”。
在二十几岁的年纪读懂这些好绝望啊。有多么期待和一个人彼此深爱一生不厌弃，就有多么明白这种期待的无望。
