趁着暑假美好的时光，我来到了慕名已久的千岛湖，我真是太激动了。一直听同学说千岛湖是人美丽的地方，今天我终于看到了，虽然在烈日下我的衣服都湿透了，但并不影响我游玩的好心情，我们登上了沁园25号游船，看到碧绿的湖水和成群的小岛我兴奋的`叫了起来，太美了。第一站我们来到了梅峰岛，我看到了大莽蛇，好多人把它缠到脖子上照相，莽蛇看上去并不那么恐怖，我还用后轻轻的摸了它一下，它身上凉凉的，还有细小的鳞片。我们坐缆车上了山顶，在这个山顶可以看到整个湖，很漂亮很壮观。第二站我们去了渔乐岛，这个岛上有个专门的鱼池，鱼池里有好多好多的红鲤鱼，好多人都在喂食小鱼，鱼儿们争先恐后的抢食。岛上还有水上摩托，我好想去玩，但是由于我太小，还不能玩这么危险的运动，但我以后一定会来玩的。我们在这岛上吃了中饭，我从来没见过这样的场面，因为是自助餐，大家都在抢，因为人食在太多，一上来就被抢光了，我只吃到了一些黄豆，虽然这让我很不开心，但不一会儿我就忘了，最后一个岛我们去了龙山岛。结束了一天的行程后，我们来到了龙川弯的70公社，这里简直是个世外桃园，好多东西我都没见过，妈妈说，“这些都是他们小时候看过的”。晚上我们就在这里住了。
第二天一早我对妈妈说的第一句话是：“妈妈，我下次还要来玩。”

Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended. However, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
