吃完了饭，收拾好碗筷，我迎着早上的太阳去上学。走了没多远，我突然又想起了一件大事，急急忙忙地跑回家，拉开妈妈的屋门对她说：“妈妈，爸爸回来了，千万让他领你去看病啊！”

一进厨房，我就和妈妈一块忙碌起来。妈妈先让我把大蒜的皮给剥掉。不一会儿我就剥好了。“妈妈，让我来削黄瓜吧。”我接过妈妈递来的黄瓜，开始一片一片地削，我削得不怎么好，妈妈就帮我修整了一下，原来黄瓜也不是这么好削的`。妈妈再洒下一些白糖，一盆菜就做好了。
接下来，妈妈又让我洗茭白。我仔细地用水将茭白清洗干净。妈妈再把它切成一片片的，放进锅里，再把大蒜和一些调味料也放进锅里，让我炒一下。我拿起铲子小心地将茭白来回炒动，嘿嘿，看来我炒得不怎么样，因为不一会儿就有一些茭白被我炒焦了。
后来，妈妈又烧了几盆菜和汤，一顿丰盛的午餐终于做好了。吃着我和妈妈一起做的菜，感觉特别的香，特别的好吃。不过，从这次帮妈妈做饭中，我知道了做饭也不是件容易的事，何况妈妈还要做那么多家务事。
妈妈太辛苦了，而我却仅仅只在母亲节到来的时候为她做点事，想到这里，我暗暗地在心里下了个决心，以后要多帮妈妈做一些事。
