今天下午第二节课是体育课，同学们都到操场上去上体育课了。橡皮们纷纷跳出铅笔盒开起了会议。
一块橡皮自豪地说：“我在橡皮工厂时，那里的叔叔和阿姨们可好了，他们给我穿上了粉红色的外衣，漂亮极了！现在我的小主人非常爱惜我，用完了赶紧把我放进铅笔盒里，还定期给我洗澡呢！”
“唉，我真羡慕你呀！我原本也是既干净又漂亮的。可现在满身是窟窿。”另一块橡皮满脸愁容地说，“我那淘气的小主人扎得我浑身是铅笔眼儿，疼死我了！”
“呀，你真是太倒霉了！”橡皮们都替他打抱不平。
橡皮们都诉说着自己在主人那里不同的经历，觉得各自的待遇真有天壤之别，有的高兴，有的难过。
正在这时，一位年老橡皮说：“我们要请铅笔帮忙，用他给那些不爱护文具的同学写一张纸条，让他们醒悟。”橡皮们纷纷行动起来……
下课铃响了，同学们陆续回到了教室。有一些人找不着自己的橡皮，急得哭了起来。突然，他们看见自己桌子上的纸条，上面写着：“小主人，我十分愿意为你服务，请爱惜我吧！”看后，同学们后悔极了。他们决定找回橡皮，再也不糟蹋他们了。从此，橡皮们又面目一新了。

在三年级的教室里，同学们都出去了，橡皮们纷纷跳出主人的书包，开始了诉苦大会。
一块橡皮说：“请同胞们帮我评评理，看看我的一身，没有一块皮是好的，我都不敢下塘洗澡了”。另一块橡皮却自豪的说：“哈哈，看看我，我在娘家时，叔叔阿姨可就喜欢我，把我的身上加了一层粉红涂料，再撒上香水，又漂亮又香香的我，主人可喜欢我了，把我当宝贝宠呢！”
“哎！我真羡慕你啊，我原本也是既干净又漂亮，可我现在身上都是窟窿。”一块满是窟窿的橡皮苦着一副脸大声的说着。
橡皮们都记着述说自己在主人那不同的经历，都希望自己的主人要善待自己，过了一会儿，一位德高望重的橡皮说话了，“别吵别吵，我们要请有文化的铅笔来帮忙吧，让它把我们的心声告诉主人吧！好让主人醒悟过来！”
当主人们回来看见铅笔写的.信时，都惭愧的地下了头。
