summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

这时，一只可爱的小狗迎面跑来。小狗累得气喘吁吁，却依然摇着尾巴努力地跟在主人身后跑来跑去。我不禁好奇地问：“小狗，小狗，你每天跟着你的主人跑来跑去，不累吗？”小狗说：“不累呀！看着主人因为我的陪伴，露出了快乐的笑容，没有什么比这更让我快乐的了，这就是我存在的意义。”当小狗把这句话说完，我就把一个词语印在了瓶盖上——陪伴。
到了晚上，我滚到了碧绿的田野上，正准备在月光的照耀下入眠时，突然，听见一阵阵“嗡嗡”声，我忍不住想去探个究竟。顺着声音，我发现一群小蜜蜂在花丛中飞来飞去。我忍不住上前问道：“嘿，小蜜蜂，你不累吗？这么晚还在采蜜。”“作为蜜蜂大家族的一员，每只蜜蜂都有自己的职责，而我也只是做好自己的本职工作罢了。”小蜜蜂说完，转身又继续采蜜去了。“职责”这个词又印在了我的身上，我的心也变得沉甸甸的了。
第二天，我继续朝前滚着，突然看见了一枚钉子，我问：“钉子大哥，你马上就要被钉在墙上了，可你还是挺直了身板，你不害怕吗？”钉子大哥骄傲地说：“我们钉子非常坚韧，从被铸造出来时起，就不知道如何弯曲。所以不管身处何种环境，我都会挺直自己的腰板，笔直地面对人生！”“坚韧”这个词又印在了我的心中。
此刻，我虽然只是一个瓶子，但是我却找到了自己存在的价值！我又启程了，去寻找新的生活。

So people call it Mountain City。 In Chong Qing，I went to the Red Stone Center， to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past。 It is a terrible and awful trip。 There are a lot of dogs， and soldiers with guns near the prisons。 And most of the prisons are good， they didn't want to tell the bad people where the other people were。 They lived in very small houses。 No good food to eat， no good water to drink。They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing。
I think they are the heros in that century。 I will follow their spirit。
