树根刚说完，鸟儿急匆匆地向树根道了一声谢，就马上飞走了。它心想：大树现在怎么样了，伐木工人对它做了什么?不管天涯海角，我也得找到它!
第一天，太阳可大了!鸟儿飞了几公里，擦了好几次汗。可它还是强压着心中的火辣，继续飞行。它饿了就吃没熟的野果，渴了就喝快***露珠。就这样，第一天终于过去了。
第二天早上，小鸟从梦中醒来。忽然，天气变冷了!小鸟用翅膀擦了擦冻得红彤彤的脸，又飞了起来。刚飞了十分钟，天上就掉下了几颗冰凉的石子。鸟儿飞了一会儿，实在冻得受不了了，抬头一看，呀!天上下起了冰雹!巨大的冰雹一粒一粒地砸下来了!忽然，眼前唰地一下子黑了……
它醒来时，四处张望。原来，它掉进了灌木丛，西红柿大的冰雹被叶子挡在了外面。它浑身疼痛难忍，眼泪一直在眼眶里打转，不禁回忆起了过去的美好时光：它和大树是形影不离的好朋友。它给大树唱歌，大树为它抵挡狂风暴雨、严冬烈日。它在冬天到来之前和大树约定了来年还给大树唱歌，没想到大树却遇到了不幸。它一路上问了很多人，飞了很多路，一次次摔倒，又一次次爬起，怎么能让一路上的千辛万苦都白白浪费?它想到这里，马上咬着牙爬了起来，把眼泪擦干。此时此刻，它焦急而又迫切地想见到大树，为它唱歌，完成它的承诺，做一只言而有信的小鸟。
它抬起翅膀，上下左右，里里外外都检查了一遍。它活动了一下冻坏了的翅膀，毅然又飞上了蓝天。

then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

树林里，有一棵树和鸟儿是好朋友，鸟儿天天给树唱歌，树呢，天天听着鸟儿唱。
日子一天天过去，寒冷的冬天就要到了，鸟儿必须离开树，到很远很远的地方去。“再见了，小鸟，明年春天请你回来，还唱歌给我听!”树说。鸟儿很感动，没想到，自己只做了这么小的事，却能打动树。
鸟儿坚定的说：“好的，我明年春天一定回来，把歌唱给你听!请等着我吧!”鸟儿说完，就依依不舍的飞走了，飞向了南方。
在冬天的日子里，鸟儿天天想着歌，练习去年的歌，准备给树唱的歌。
春天终于来了，万物复苏，草翠花开，雪也融化了。鸟儿到了原来的树林里寻找树。可是，树不见了，只剩下了树根。
“立在这的这棵树到什么地方去了呀?”鸟儿问树根。
“你走后，树天天盼着你，前几天，伐木工人把它砍倒，当时他发出不甘心的恕吼，失望地对我说：“请你告诉小鸟，我被砍倒了，希望她能找到我，把歌唱给我听!”“那你知道他在哪吗?“鸟儿问。“他被人们拉进山谷的木头工厂去了!”鸟儿着急的飞去工厂，锯木头的声音沙-沙-地响着。鸟儿问大门：“门先生，树在哪儿您知道吗?”大门说：“树么，在厂子里切成了细条条儿，做成火柴，运到东边的村子里卖掉了。”鸟儿又向村子飞去。在一户家庭里有一盏油灯，照亮了整个屋子，有个小女孩坐在灯旁，鸟儿问女孩：“小姑娘，请告诉我，火柴在哪啊?”
女孩回答说：“火柴已经用光了，可是，火柴点燃的火，还在灯里亮着。”
鸟儿想了想，又对灯火看了一会儿，就唱起了去年的那首歌。
唱完了歌，鸟儿想：“树为人类做出贡献，我也要去为人们做点什么!”过了一会儿，就飞走了。

手里拿着成绩单，看着这分数心里真不是滋味。虽说前我生了场病，考这分数情有可原。但总的原因还是我没有认真学习，造成基础不牢固，无法用自己所学的知识去面对考试。
想着平日里父母为我的学习操碎了心，心里总有一种愧疚感。暑假来临，正好可以利用这段时间来弥补我学习上的不足。
我的暑假学习安排是这样的：
一·每天坚持听一个小时的英语。由于某些因素，让我们在英语水平上与经济发达地区的孩子们有一定的差距，但我相信只要我肯努力，也能追上他们，并比他们做的更好。
二·坚持背诵语文古诗词和英语单词。在高考中语文默写占得分值虽不是很大，但俗话说“一分也能压倒众多人。”就像在这次考试中，我就因没好好背古诗词，连屈原《离***》中的千古名句“长太息以掩涕兮，哀民生之多艰。”都不会写，让我白白丢了许多分。并且在写时，可以引用许多古诗词。如在写面对困难时的态度，可以引用李白的“长风破浪会有时，直挂云帆济沧海。”等等。背英语单词更为重要，阅读时连单词的意思都不知道，那你该如何答题;写作时连单词都不会拼写，那你该如何的高分……
三·多做理综题。只会一味的死记硬背公式是不会在理综上拿到高分的。理综注重的是灵活运用，只有多做题，题型见多了，遇到相似的题就知道该如何下笔。像我在那抓破脑袋想这题应用什么公式，好不容易公式想出了却不知道该如何解题，时间浪费了分也丢了。
四·整理笔记，回顾以前所学的知识。学过的知识只有不断回顾才能让它记忆深刻。像我总是把以前所学的`知识全都堆积到考试前几天来复习，这种做法不仅没有效果还让我越复习越紧张。把笔记整理几遍可以发现哪些知识是重点，哪些知识自己还没吃透等等。
五·利用网络多和别人交流。网络是个很好的交流平台，我们可以在网上与他人互相交流学习，了解大学的招生信息等等。
“所谓天才人物指的就是具有毅力的人，勤奋的人，入迷的人和忘我的人。”我会充分利用好这个暑假，以最好的状态去面对新学期的到来。
