孝顺父母的事英语作文【一】
什么是孝？孝，是中华民族的传统美德。
小时候，不懂事的我总是埋怨爸爸妈妈不陪我玩，每天不听爸爸妈妈的话。后来，我去妈妈的公司里玩，看见妈妈搬那么重的货物，我才发现，原来爸爸妈妈每天都这么辛苦，于是，我下定决心，一定要多帮妈妈做一些事。
从那以后，我只要有空，总要帮妈妈做一些事。要吃饭的时候，帮妈妈拿碗筷、盛饭；在吃完饭的时候，收拾一下碗筷，洗洗碗；回家之后，扫扫地。但是，妈妈好像还是那么累，于是，我一直在思考妈妈为什么还会这么累，终于在妈妈给妹妹收拾衣服的时候，我忽然明白原来妈妈根本不需要我么们做什么，只要我们把自己东西整理好，其实就可以减轻妈妈的很多负担。于是，我渐渐习惯了整理好自己的书桌，起床之后整理一下床铺；这样，我就经常看到妈妈的笑容，我和妈妈就都会很高兴
其实这就是孝，这些对我们中学生来说，是很简单的事情，那为什么我们就不能替父母分担一下呢？许多学生拿着父母辛辛苦苦赚来的钱，去买零食买玩具；宁愿把时间花在打游戏上也不愿意去多看两本书，多写几个字。我记得我看过一期《变形记》，里面有一个15岁的初中生女孩，打架、斗殴、一晚上能进派出所3次，买一双鞋要几万元，伤透了父母的心。难道这样子就是孝了吗？不是的。
中华民族是一个历史悠久的文明古国，在远古时就有“礼仪之邦”之称。可见，孝顺长辈是中华民族的传统美德，我们绝不能丢掉祖先流传下来的良好品德。

Although we can only keep in touch with each other by the telephone or the Internet, I wish I could let you know how much I love you and how much I’ve appreciated the things you’ve done for me. It is never too much to say thank you to you, my dear parents.

俗话说的好‘百事孝为先’说的一点也不假。‘孝’乃是做人质根本。
我们现在有许多人富起来啦，至少说吃不成问题啦。但是社会上有许多人不孝。我在电视上看见这样一段录像，一群老人在小区的对面的一堵墙边坐着聊天看起来像是老来享福都清闲啦。但是你要听到他们所说的话就不会像现在这样啦。有一个老人是这样说的：“我们辛辛苦苦把他们养大到头来却落不到好，看他们现在都成家啦但现在却不养我们拉。要不是我们有养老金供着早就死啦。当听完这段话我心里非常生气，”“为什么会这样，他们良心在哪啊。老人们从小给他们吃；给他们穿；给他们所有的爱；给他们一切。到头来却变成这样。我想弱国要是我，我肯定不会这样做。”
中国的小学生守则第一条“热爱祖国”我觉得中国在这方面不如美国做得好，我们应该向美国学习“先热爱父母在热爱祖国。”我认为是对的一个人如果不热爱自己的父母那么他怎么会热爱祖国，怎么保护人民。因为他们失去了良心怎么还能做这样的事呢一个不孝顺的人他们做不到，所以一切要先从该国开始。
我想大家对孔融让梨；黄香温席，这些故事不陌生把。这里面孔融，这么小的'情况下就会关心别人不自私自利。为什么我们这些人却做不到呢，拿到我们连小孩都不如吗。尤其是黄香在母亲去世之后。他把对母亲的司联合爱全部倾注到父亲身上。冬夜寒冷，他就钻到父亲的被窝里，用自己的身体把被窝焐热；夏夜炎热，他就用扇子把父亲枕席扇凉。“你们想想才一个九岁的女孩就能做到这样我们为什么不能。”“自从我躲过这些故事之后，我就对自己说，我一辈子都会孝顺自己的父母，我要把所有的爱全部倾注到他们身上。
在这里我也希望我们要做到“孝顺父母”时刻不能忘记自己的一切都是父母给的，不能忘记父母的养育之恩。我从心里感悟到拉一个道理“要爱国先爱自己的父母；要有效先孝顺自己的父母；要有良心要对得起父母。你做到了吗。
