去年秋天，爸爸陪我去海淀区少年宫参加朗诵比赛。这是我第一次参加这么大型的比赛，兴奋得一夜都没有睡好觉。
来到了少年宫一看，哇，人山人海的，偌大的展示厅挤得只有一条仅容一人通过的小道，旁边站满了密密麻麻的家长和小朋友，有的`人正在摇头晃脑，有的人口中念念有词，他们在做比赛前的最后冲刺。看到有这么多小朋友参加比赛，我的心不由得紧张起来。
老师把我们分好组，依次带进去比赛。很快轮到我了，我走进考场，看见有两个评委坐在那儿。我从来没有见过如此正式的场面，心一下子就提到了嗓子眼，两只手紧张得直冒汗，一句话也说不出来，本来背得滚瓜烂熟的词一下子全忘了。
于是我就呆呆地站在那里，满脸憋得通红，说不出一句话。这时评委老师似乎看出了什么，笑眯眯地对我说：“小朋友，不要紧张，就像平时做练习一样。”听到了老师的鼓励，我加速的心跳慢慢地平静下来，并暗暗给自己打气，终于找回了自信，原来忘记的词一下子就想起来了。我终于顺利地完成了朗诵比赛。
这是我第一次参加朗诵比赛，它不仅锻炼了我的朗诵能力，而且开阔了我的视野，下次有机会我会表现更好好！
