刚到北京，我们就投入到了第一个目的地——北京故宫。进入故宫，映入眼帘的无疑是一座座红墙黛瓦的古代宫廷建筑。太和殿前，清一色的大石板上盘着数条形态不一的巨龙，我的眼前顿时浮现出古代皇帝上朝时的壮观场面。
一路走马观花，还未参观完毕，天公不作美，忽然下起了小雨，在我们避雨的时候，导游为大家讲了一个发生在故宫的离奇传闻：每当雷雨交加的夜晚，故宫的红墙上就经常会见到宫女和太监来去匆匆的影子。同学们听了之后，瞬间炸开了锅，展开了丰富的想象，有的说那是冤屈而死的宫女太监的鬼魂，也有人说，是因为雷电的某种物理作用导致了红墙上的画面。谜底当然是由知识渊博的导游来为我们揭晓啦，科学的解释是：因为宫墙是红色的，含有四氧化三铁，而闪电可能会将电能传导下来，如果碰巧有宫女太监经过，这时候宫墙就相当于录像带的功能，如果以后再有闪电巧合出现，可能就会像录像放映一样，出现那个被录下来的影子。听了如此权威的解释，我也想亲眼见识一下这神奇的现象，可惜没有机会啊！
