一提到鲁迅的短篇小说，我头一个想到的便是《狂人日记》。虽然我只需30分钟便可以读完这只有11页的作品，但它却在我心中，使我久久无法忘怀。
民国时期，一位患有“迫害狂”症的病人写下了一册日记。日记中他的世界到处充满了恐惧。他觉得身边所有的人都要吃掉他，不论亲戚朋友还是街头素不相识的路人，包括他那现在正在养活整个家的大哥。狂人想：“大哥对我讲书的时候，亲口说过可以易子而食;有一回偶然议论起一个不好的人，他便说不但该***，还当‘食肉寝皮’。”除了大哥的话，还有那些周围发生的事也让这个疯子对“吃人”深信不疑：狼子村打死了一个恶人，几个人把他的心肝挖出来油煎炒了吃;一个女人打她儿子，还骂道：“老子呀!我要咬你几口才出气!”一想到这些，狂人便从“顶上直冷到脚跟”。后来，狂人甚至以为自己也在不知不觉中吃过人——大哥曾把死去的妹子的肉和在饭里给狂人吃。这便是那篇《狂人日记》。
这位狂人写的文字虽然杂乱无论次，但却生动的描绘出了一个人吃人的社会。可以说，狂人是被当时的非人道主义所逼疯的。那些封建的想法，如吃恶人心肝可以壮胆，都在记中表现了出来。狂人痛恨那些封建礼教假借道德的名义，宣扬残忍和暴力。日记最后，狂人疾呼：“救救孩子”这是对旧社会的反抗，和对新一代的担忧。
忆昔日，看今朝。我们现在的生活可充满了幸福。每天，父母都会笑盈盈地看着我，朋友都会欢快地与我玩耍;每天，我都放松全身心。怎么可能会觉得那些和我一样欢乐的人会吃我?
最令我感动的是狂人所说的这样一句话：“自己晓得这笑声里面，有的是正义和勇气;老头子和大哥都失了色，被我的勇气正气镇压住了。”只要我们有勇气，只要正义是站在我们这边的，任何歪风邪气、封建迷信都会迎刃而解。
狂人虽然是个疯子，但他并不傻，他懂得什么是人性，什么是真善美，并知道：因该去追求一个真正美好的社会。也许正是因为像狂人那样的分子太少了，才会出现腐败的社会。
