我们的母亲：黄河，她从内心里发出了深深的哀伤，她落泪了！看到自己为孩子们的贡献以及如今身上的“遍体鳞伤”，她怎么也想不到自己今天的情形。我们的母亲，她疲倦了，她累了，她明白自己快要走完有生之年了，她要用自己的`最后一点残余之力，告诉自己亲爱的孩子们一个无法改变的人生真理：破坏大自然，就等于自事其果。于是，一场场山洪地质灾害，一场场固若金汤的泥石流，便接连不断地席卷于世界各地。
好在大灾过后，越来越多的人们意识到自己以前所犯的严重错误，他们纷纷加入环保的行列里来，他们不但相互制止他人随意破坏、污染环境，并劝其更多的人也加入这绿色的行列中，各个国家也相继出台了污水达标的方案，越来越多的大型水电站被强行关闭。人们也逐步养成节约用水的好习惯，于是，一个响亮的声音在世间高呼：同饮一河水，共护母亲河……
我们的母亲见了，她那已是苍白略显无劲的脸上，终于流露出那一丝欣慰之笑……
