从幼儿园起，各种各样的带拼音插图的童话书就成了我的精神食粮，年龄稍长，自然就开始了“殖民扩张”，什么《格林童话》、《伊索寓言》、《中国神话故事》、《钢铁是怎样炼成的》等都成了我“征服”的对象。爸爸妈妈怕我太过沉迷，不能自拔，影响视力，于是颁布几条“禁令”：“吃饭时不准看书，车启动不准看书，钢琴作业没完成不准看书……”我表面答应，可暗地里还是背着他们偷偷地“违规”。家中的卧室、洗手间、阳台里到处都留下我“窃读”的踪迹。
之所以这样，是因为书中的世界对我太有诱惑力了。徜徉在书里，犹如走进书里，与人物同喜同悲。徜徉在书里，如同品味一杯浓香的美酒，时间越长久，味道越醇厚。徜徉在书里，我的心灵如秋风流水般沉静，生活似彩色云霞般绚烂……

记得在我5岁那年，我和小伙伴在楼下玩了一上午，那时真是又饿又渴，和小伙伴告别后，我赶紧往家跑，边跑边想着午饭可以吃到我最喜欢的可乐鸡翅和咖喱牛肉，之所以能吃上这些美味的菜肴，是因为有亲戚在家里，我顺便“沾光”。刚进楼道，我就闻到一股浓浓的饭菜香味，我更加饥肠辘辘了，于是加快了步伐，迫不及待地跑进家门，桌子上已经摆好了各色菜肴，不但有可乐鸡翅和咖喱，还有多宝鱼、鱼香肉丝等各式美味，这些都是我喜欢吃的菜。这时候，妈妈正在招呼亲戚入座，我赶紧找了个位置坐下，眼睛直勾勾地看着桌子上的美味，顺手就拿起筷子伸到盘子里，可是刚准备夹起一块鸡翅，妈妈就按住了我的手，和颜悦色地对我说：“孩子，应该让长辈先动筷子。”我只好把拿筷子的手缩回去。姥姥笑眯眯地看着我说：“大家一起吃吧!”姥姥一放话，一块鸡翅立马就被我夹到盘子里，我津津有味地吃了起来。客人走后，妈妈又给我讲了一番“饭桌礼仪”。
今年元旦，我去参加妈妈的同学聚会。菜都上齐了，可人还没有来齐。大家都在等一位姗姗来迟的叔叔。当时，我是多么想夹一块又香又嫩的牛蛙呀!可是，我想起了妈妈在家教我的道理，于是控制住了自己。旁边有一位阿姨说：“紫安，你先吃点儿吧。”我说：“谢谢阿姨，不用了，等会儿咱们一起吃吧。”我耐心地等到人都坐齐了，才和大家一起开始吃。叔叔阿姨不住地夸讲我懂规矩，习惯好。
“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之”。好的习惯往往是从小养成的，从一点一滴做起。我家的这条家规实际上是一种谦让，对长辈谦让是一种孝道和美德，对别人谦让可以赢得大家的信任和赞扬。
