The winter vacation is not so far from us.there are lots of thing I have done while this vacation.For one thing ,I have my lessons reviewed ,in order to improve the qulity of study.For the other thing,I wish I would be betterafter hard working with my course.at first, I must correct all my final examination paper. Secondly，I insist on reading English books and newspapers every day.I also keep on oral pratice.
In my spare time,I will take an active part in activitise.I can gain the first hand imformations through the activitise which can help me to extend my knowlege.
I'm sure this vacation will be the best one for me.Let me try!

从前，在一片鲜为人知的森林里住着一只蜗牛。那蜗牛以旅行家自居，自称走过中国的大半个国度。快点，让我们跟上它的步伐去感受旅行的美妙。
蜗牛一路上风餐露宿，依靠在大树上睡着了。透过梦境，它来到一个世外桃源。那地方气候温暖，土壤肥沃，那儿的桃花永不凋谢，只要你愿意，随时都能看见“四月芳菲”的美景。它的身体情不自禁地往前挪一挪，一个浴池里往外散着热气，走近一瞧，原来是一个温泉，蜗牛天真的以为泉中冒着热泡，应该很舒服，于是，它奋不顾身的跳了下去。“啊！”随之而来是一声惨叫，“冻死我了！”蜗牛冻得不住的大叫起来，他连忙跳进旁边看似冷冰冰的浴池，“哇，好舒服啊!”蜗牛随即赞叹道。它低头看了看这个池子，又抬头瞧了瞧旁边那个池子，心里纳闷道：为什么这池子面冷虽热，而那池子却面热虽冷呢？它仰头招望四周，它的目光落在了一块写着“天池”的牌子上，它又低头望了望泉眼，顿时，它开窍了：“天池，乃极因极寒之地，因此，周围的环境规律，和别的地方大不一样。因此，看上去冷的东西自然是热的，看上去热的东西自然是冷的。”
于是，它按照了这个办法，找到了一套生存的方法，渐渐地，他发现自己回不去了，便在这个岛上安居下来......

一天，阳光明媚，天气十分晴朗。我一觉醒来，打了个哈欠，伸了个懒腰。“咦！那不是蚂蚁太太一家吗？”我定晴一看，他们一家子拉着旅行包，个个都精神百倍，一问才知道，原来它们要去湖边旅行。
听了这句话，我心里也产生了这样一个念头：我为什么不去大森林走走呢？说干就干，我一边哼着小曲，一边背着我那重重的“房子”出发了。
我走呀走，啊！大森林竟然如此的美丽。尽管秋天已经来临，有些叶子已经枯黄，秋风吹来，落叶像一只翩翩起舞的蝴蝶，在树叶间飘来荡去。还有许许多多的鸟儿在枝头歌唱，好像在欢迎秋姐姐的来到。
走着走着，突然，在森林中隐隐约约传来了一阵哭声，我急忙加快了脚步走了过去。原来是一只小蚂蚁，坐在一块岩石上，哭得十分伤心。我见了，连忙亲切地问道：“小蚂蚁，你为什么哭呀？”小蚂蚁回答说：“呜……我们要去湖边旅行的，结果，我掉队了，呜……”我听了，才注意到——它也背着个背包。我立刻明白了一切，拉起它的小手说：“走，相信我们一定能找到它们的！”
走呀走，一条小河拦住了我们的去路，怎么办呢？我们绞尽脑汁，终于，想出了一个好主意。我们一起抬来了一片能坐上我俩的树叶，我们坐了上去，顺利的到达了对岸。这时，一只螳螂草丛中蹦了出来，它对小蚂蚁冷笑着，说：“小东西，今天你的末日到了！”接着是一阵狂笑，小蚂蚁趁螳螂狂笑时，溜到了草丛里，我横在了它眼前，螳螂回过神来时，看见我不合它的口胃，便惺惺的走了。不一会儿，我们就来到了湖边，看见它们已经团聚了，我便悄悄的走了。
帮助别人，快乐自己！此时，有一股暖暖的感觉在我的心底，那种感觉叫幸福。这是一次多么幸福的旅行呀！

I am going to do my homework every day so that I can finish my homework on time.I am going to the library to borrow some books and go to the shops to buy some books so that I can read some interesting books. Of course I am going to help my parents do some housework because they are busy with their work every day.I am going to spend a week in Shanghai with my parents so that we can see the expo. summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
