Chen Mo is my desk mate who is a good student in the eyes of classmates and teachers. She is the first one to get to school every day. Usually, she spends half an hour in learning English that takes us much to remember vocabularies and read the articles. Moreover, she not only focuses on her own study, but also helps other students in need. Classmates like asking her for help, because she is always ready for help. However, I prefer to regard her as my friend rather than desk mate. We communicate with each other frequently after class. We discuss our study as well as share our lives. She is desperately interested in playing badminton, so do I. We would play badminton very Friday after class, which helps us relax ourselves as well build our body. It’s so great to have a desk mate that has interest in common.

有人说：“生活就像是巧克力，你永远都不知道下一颗是什么。”是啊，你永远都不知道下一秒会发生什么，但无论如何，都要敢于接受，再苦再难也要敢于面对。
夜深人静，独自徘徊在乡间幽深的小路。路旁的这颗桑椹树依然是那么高，我似乎感觉它多少年都一成未变，树皮黑的深沉。与小路一起蜿蜒的小河又涨出了水，依然静静的流淌。小路似乎也没有因为时间的推移而变得平坦。一切都像我和父亲走过的一样，人变了，事物还是这样，不会因为你的改变，而变得衰落或繁盛。
两年前，父亲就这么被病魔侵蚀，忍痛去世，我看着他临死前痛苦的样子，真是心如刀绞，我曾经那个开朗、热爱生活的父亲怎么会变成这样，我现在终于知道，父亲每次不管遇到什么事都会坦然面对，笑着去解决。因为他知道下一秒自己是不是还在这个世界，为什么不竭尽全力去享受剩下的每分每秒？
我始终无法释怀，别人内心都会心生一丝怜悯，因为他们可以理解一个人的孤独困窘，体会一个人走过人生有多么艰难。同时他们也会看不起，一个小孩没有家人能有什么出息，而我也似乎一直活在别人的眼光里，别人认为我应该怎样我就应该怎样，我变得自卑、软弱、沉默寡言。
继续沿着小路往前走，越走越害怕，小路就像一条绳索，把我困在原地，走不出来，小路你为什么在我人生最低谷的时候，化成一支毒剑刺痛我的心。就在此时，我忽然看到了草丛里有一丝光亮，我俯下身子贴近了看，原来是几只萤火虫，这么黑的夜，连我都打一丝寒颤，难道萤火虫就不害怕吗？我把它们握在手心，散发的光亮令人心生慰籍。不一会儿，它变暗了，在过一会儿，它消失了。我不禁感到惊诧。萤火虫这么短的生命周期，在它的生命最后一刻，也要用尽它身体内最后的一丝光和热。
我静下心来沉思，我的人生还很长，不必要为生活中的失去而黯然神伤，也许我心中只是缺乏一份勇气。对！要变得勇敢，萤火虫知道自己下一秒会失去生命，还会竭尽全力发光发热，我又有什么理由而不去坚强呢！

My father is a tall man with a pair of glasses. Everyone says he is a kind-hearted man. He often helps his neighbours and some strangers whom he doesnt know at all. He has really done a lot for others. I dont like him to do so because I think it has taken him too much time. When I discourage him, he always says with a smile,The world needs warm hearts.
My father loves his family, and loves his work even better. In the company, he is called workaholic He spends most of his time working, and often forgets to have meals or to go to bed.As a result,he doesnt enjoy good health. My father likes reading in his spare time. He told me reading was very interesting. I became interested in reading little by little. I like books, because they help me in many ways. My father has a bad habit he likes smoking very much. I hate it. See, the house is full of smoke. I know its bad for his health as well as mothers and mine. I advise him to give up smoking.
