It is obvious to everybody that the only way to achieve one's goal is to work hard. Just as the old saying goes "no mill, no meal". Have you ever seen a man who succeeds just by idling about? Of course, the answer is "No". So we know if you want to gain something, you will have pains.
The farmers harvest by a year of arduous work; the scientists gain achievements by years of devoted researches; students get good marks by working hard; even the little ants have their food by working hard day and night. 1 know there are always some people who wait for the opportunities falling on them. They may attribute their failures to lack of good chances. Therefore, there are so many people gaining nothing at last. Clever men know that the more effort they make, the bigger chance they will have to be successful.
So, when others achieve their aspirations and you still gain nothing, don't complain about the unfair fate and don't give up, either. Remember: no pains, no gains.

I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

莫泊桑说：”人生活在希望之中，一个希望破灭了或实现了，就会有新的希望产生。”新春就是新的企盼、新的希 望，新的征程，新的收获。新学期，新起点，新面貌，让我们憧憬更美好的明天，让我们再一次踏上征途！追求：是充实生命的必然途径。时间就像那无情的流水， 流去我在小学里的五年光阴。转眼寒假又将成为过去，新的学期即将来临。仔细的回想，过去的五年里，自己到底做了什么？可是，什么也想不起来。难道真要这 样，流给母校的是一片空白记忆吗？不，我希望，在小学生活的最后半年里要踏踏实实的做好每一件事。在这半年里我一定要珍惜每一 秒时间，争取不让自己有荒度的一刻。新学期到了，那么大家一定会有新的打算，我的打算又是什么呢？其实，我的打算和别人一样，就是要在新的学期里努力学 习，认真听老师讲课，上课要积极发言。
不仅如此，还要经常参加各类活动，做到这些，还远远不够，我还希望自己能在毕业上考出好 成绩。我知道，要做到这些是很难很难的，但是只要你坚持到底，永不退缩，那这些又将变得非常容易。我想，人的希望是会随时改变的，不同的时间，不同的.情况 下，我们每个人的希望也是不同的。
在新学期里，我的希望是永远记住母校，因为这毕竟是我生活了六年的小学啊！同时，我也希望能在这 最后的半年里为我亲爱的母校做一点事情，留下一些美好的东西。我想，我一定会用实际行动来做这件事的。人在一生中，不管他成为了什么，是名人，或是伟人， 还是极平凡的普通人，都会永远记住自己的母校，都对他有着非常深刻的感情，我也要做这样的人。我知道，每个人心里想的是不一样的，因为，人各有志，目标不 同。如 今我渐渐长大了，我的新目标不是做什么伟人，也不想当什么艺人，更不是成为科学巨人。而是长大后考上一座较好的大学，找到一份稳定的工作。在自己平凡的岗 位上为国家，为社会作出不平凡的事，贡献出属于自己的一份力量，这就已经足够了。

一个漫长的寒假已过去，迎来的是一个美好的春天。在这万物复苏的时刻，新的一学期又开始了，迎着早晨的第一缕阳光，我们又重新回到美丽的校园，开始了新一学期的征途。
在 过去的征程中，曾拥有过欢笑，拥有个阳光，这都已成为永远的记忆，现在加上一把锁将它封锁起来，摆在我们面前的一切都是新的，看呀？新的学期正在向我们招 手。经过五年的锻炼，我们不都是一个个战士，抹去心灵的灰尘，拿上我们的武器，整装待发，新学期的目标向我们冲击！
我们又迎来了新 学期，在每一个全新的起点，我们每个人都会有一种期盼：明天的我要更精彩。因此，我一定在对美好未来的憧憬中，展现着自己迎接新学期的新气象。今天的老 师，同学们都把自己打理得漂漂亮亮，办公室。教室都打扫得干干净净，这样就营造了一种生机勃勃。祥和向上的新气象。相信在这种新气象的感染和鼓舞下。我一 定要在新学期取得新进步。
在新学期里，我有一个新的目标——不要做语言的巨人，要成为行动的主人！我知道了成功不是靠梦想来实现，而是靠自己的行动……
当 然，在新的学期中，在学习要有新的成绩，这就要不懈地努力！付出一份努力才会换取一份收获。学习并不是一种兴趣，而是一种责任，是我应该做而且必须做好的 事情，同时学习必定会有负担。没有苦的。累的过程，就不会有进步和提升，无论是过去，还是未来不都这样的道理吗？我把自己的喜悦，悲伤都化作前进的助力和 动力，就会因此不断克服困难取得新进步。成功中是我们的喜悦，成功背后是我们辛勤的汗水，没有耕耘就哪有收获 没有付出哪有所得。我即将升入初中了，就更应该好好珍惜这段宝贵的时光充实自己，把自己的理想变为势不可当的动力！

Dear English teacher,
I went on a trip to Hainan today with my family .We went there by plane. After we got off the plane, we went to the beach to see the beautiful sand and swim there. There were other people there too. Some people were surfing and some people were diving in the deeper part of the sea. Afterwards we had lunch at a seafood restaurant near the beach. We ate seafood like shrimps and craps, and drank some abalone soup.We all didn't want to go home because the scenery was so beautiful, and there were so many other exciting things to try,but sadly it was time for us to go. It was definitely an exciting trip.If I have a chance to go there again, i will be more than happy to visit the place again.

How time flies(时间过得真快,unconsciously(不知不觉地 the next winter vacation (寒假will soon come.In order to improve(提高 myself as well as enjoy a happy holiday,I made the winter vacation plan.
Firstly i want to continue with my study,i think study is a life process,so no matter what the situation I am in,i will look for chances to continue it.I have bought several new books ,including those books on my major(专业and some novels ,I will try to finish reading them in the holiday and write notes.
Secondly,since it is the holiday,I will share it with my family and friends .You know the spring festival will soon come, I believe I would chatting and play games with my friends and family .I think I will enjoy the vacation.
时间过得真快，不知不觉得下一个寒假就要到了，为了提高我自己同时快乐的度过假期，我制定了寒假计划。
首先，我会继续学习，我认为学习是一种终身的过程，所以不管我处在那种情况之下，我都会寻找机会学习。我已经买了一些新书，这些书有的跟我的专业有关，也包括一些小说。我将努力读完他们并写下。

As the winter vacation is drawing near, I have a plan about my vacation. I'm going to do what I want to do. I'm going to study harder in order to get good grades in the following term. After finishing all my homework, I'm going to enjoy myself in the sea of knowledge. Reading must be a good idea. I'm going to keep fit at the same time. I'll get up eary in the morning everyday and play sports. I really love sports. Besides that, Eating a balanced diet is also good for my health. I'm going to help my mom and dad with the housework as well in the vacation.I'll learn to cook. As for travelling, I'm planning to go to Hainan. But whether going there or not will be decided on the weather.During the vacation,I'm going to learn more about history,as I'm really poor on it.
So you see, I'll have a terrific vacation!
